Surprise is all around

On a sunny Sunday, my buddy Ming who was my classmate when we pursued our scuba diving instructor license, invited me for canoeing.  Ming is a commercial scuba diver as well as a navy in Hong Kong.   He has all the licenses for anything with an engine on the ocean. prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

Canoeing refreshed my memory in high school coz i haven't done it ever since.  Ming also took me on a speedboat for a ride. 

He stopped in the middle of the ocean and explained how everything worked, then he said, "Let's swap and it's your turn".   What a big surprise, I have never imagined riding a speedboat illegally!!

Riding a speedboat is similar to riding a motorcycle, so I manage to pick up quick.  In less than 3 minutes, I started my ride with full throttle.  It was faster than I expected.  As today is quite windy and wavy, I almost flipped the boat around and almost bounced ourselves off the boat many times coz I didn't ease off the throttle like a nut.  At last, you know what, the engine of the boat was misplaced.  Ming and I had to fix and align the engine back in place, haha.

Too bad that when I wanna take a photo on the speedboat, my camera went out of battery.  The guy on the right is Ming, his friend Henry is on the left.  He promised to let me ride on a even bigger and faster speedboat with a steering wheel next time.  Maybe I could try applying my auto racing skill on it, so desperately looking forward to it.  We will see.
