Is it, or is it not, totally unacceptable when your mobile phone dies on you within the time frame stipulated in the subject title above?
And to think i just sent it in for servicing less than 2 months ago...and today it happened again. The screen just froze and the dang thing blacked out on me.
Abso-freaking-lutely UN-ACCEPTABLE

So i was supposed to shoot some scenes for 'Xioa Niang Re' (that drama set in the 50's) yesterday, 11Aug. In fact i had the date blocked about 2 weeks ago.
Then, early last week, there was this casting call for a motorcycle thief for 'CrimeWatch' - re-enacting recent, real crimes. At first the casting girl said i was too old as the actual perpetrator was a national serviceman - late teens to early 20's. As the balloting progressed, with each name called out that wasn't Avryl's, the probability nose-dived:
17/23 - 73.9%
16/22 - 72.7%
15/21 - 71.4%
14/20 - 70.0%

10/16 - 62.5%
At this point, they were picking out the names quicker than the names got written on the whiteboard but i was still pretty unfazed...i mean there's still 9 more to go...

Actually, the real figures are 18 (primary 1 places for 2009) out of 24 (anxious applicants)...i mean that's a good 75% chance of Avryl getting in.
Well, i'll find out soon enough...balloting's at 3pm coming thursday, CHIJ ( Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus )...i'm not telling which one though ;P

Today, i went to register Avryl for Primary school. Seems like not too long ago i was checking out kindergartens near my place and suddenly...my little girl is going to Primary 1 next year. Where did the time go?
So there i sat, armed with Avryl's birth cert and inoculation papers, awaiting my turn to fill up the paperwork when this group of girls started dancing:
