Video: Flo Rida Rocks the Opening of Cubic in Macau - @official_flo

I feel a bit guilty,  I decided to relax a BITthis weekend and went to Macau for two nights....  of course I didn't actually relax, and I still spent quite a lot of time working on my laptop... but for me that's relaxing. :-P

What was the purpose of my trip?  Everyone's favorite late late night spot Cubic has moved to its new home inside the City of Dreams and they were doing a BIG opening weekend party.  Friday night was featuring none other than Flo Rida performing.  

You know Flo Rida right? he's the guy that does that song...  the one that Tom Cruise was dancing to in 'Tropic Thunder'... the one about the Apple Bottom Jeans...

Well that's pretty much the extent of my familiarity with Flo Rida (aside from the fact that I assumed he was from the state of Florida...)  :-P

I didn't have high expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised by his show.  Flo Rida works hard to get the crowd going.  But don't take my word for it,  check out the video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sR46UDKwDEg

Flo Rida likes his Patron!  according to my friend at Telford, this is a special bottle you can't buy... (rap stars only!) :-PAs you can see in the video, he had a bunch of women from the audience come on stage during 'Low' - Her parents must be so proud. :-P

(let me state for the record Cubic needs to exercise tighter approval processes for deciding which audience members get on stage dance....)  :-PAfter the show I was happy to see that Flo Rida retweeted my pics from the show -That's pretty cool.  I take back all the stuff I said about Twitter sucking compared to Weibo... :-PI tried to tweet to Flo Rida again to ask if we could get a picture, but he was too busy partying it up with his guests and his patron to answer. :-( But Nadia did get a picture with "Strong Arm",  his security guard / assistant / piggy back buddy (watch the end of the video again if you missed it!) :-P Nat and I posing after the show.  During the show Nadia got a rose from Flo Rida... all I got was his sweaty towel. (from the Hard Rock hotel...)  :-PAnyway it was a lot of fun. I think Nadia will put together a video clip sooner or later. ;-)AND...  Stay tuned for a bit more from Saturday night's party with a completely different big name guest. ;-)
