    Spent a day hanging out with Mark and other friends in Shekou, a district of Shenzhen.  Mark and I photographed kids playing and enjoying (most of them) a rather unusual rickshaw ride.

    He wanted to ride a zebra, but his parents said no.  When he started crying and screaming, they walked away.  This was the end of his fit before he realized they were not going to cave in.

    Generally speaking, I try not to get to close - telephoto lens helps - but sometimes I get very self conscious about taking photos of people too, especially older people.  For some reason, I don't think much about it when photographing kids.  I guess I subscribe to shoot first, ask later, then shoot more.
