Bullitt

Bullitt is such a man's movie. But because of Steve McQueen it is also a woman's favorite, if you dig understated cool guys.

It's a pretty slick movie. The original soundtrack is excellent.

But what I like the most is that the main character drifts between work and private life - work as the endless gruesome crime scene and private life as domestic bliss. What a contrast. A very existential movie.

Anyway I tried to find the original trailor of Bullitt but it was...awful. I hope someone can come up with a better version. So in the end I've decided to put the Ford Puma Commercial featuring Steve McQueen here. It's a tribute to the movie and trust me, it's a lot better than the original trailor!
