Dear all,

I'm currently rehearsing for a Cantonese musical called <一屋寶貝> (The Passage Beyond) with 演戲家族 (Actors' Family), which will be performing at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Studio Theatre from 30th Oct - 1st Nov (5 shows).

This is the first Cantonese musical I have taken part in.  Not that I want to be / should be particularly proud of the productions I'm in, but this production is actually a beautiful surprise to me!  I dare to say it' s the best ever Cantonese musical I have come across in my life so far. Even though I don't have a big role in the show,  I feel really really glad to have the opportunity to be part of this amazing production!

Thanks to our amazing creative team with the jaw dropping music, lyrics, directing, choreography and everything!!!

故事簡介

失去聯絡多時的父親在雨夜突然回到家中; 之後, 鬼靈精怪事件接踵而來, 朝睛卻不知如何應對! 正當他們為小雨憂心忡忡, 屋中幽靈紛至, 在蛻變的時間和 空間, 在他們迷離而奇妙的故事背後, 真正能為小雨帶來幸福生活的未來徐徐展開......

Haven't been writing on here for sooooo long.

So Just an update here for my previous show <遍地芳菲> (Boundless Movement) with HK REP, which we performed at Kwai Tsing Theatre in September. 

This is a Chinese period drama with more than 40 actors in the cast, and it's the first Chinese play I have ever done in my life!

Dear all,

My debut performance in HK --- 《一枱壞女人》(Square For Five) by 瘋祭舞台 (Theatre Fanatico) was opened tonight!  I think we had a good first performance!

Thanks for those of you who came to the opening tonight!  The process of developing this piece is like riding on a roller coaster, which I have been going through one deep learning curve after another! A big thanks to our director Ho Ying Fung for this half improvised devised theatre experience!

由 何應豐作召集人，以不多於7名的創作、表演及製作人組成的「小團隊」，混合「老、中、青」三代非常人馬，相互作身份跨界，由零開始，7上7落、7出7合的 姿態，深化表演內涵，提昇對特設文化議題的反思和叩問，集體創作及建構兼容歷史、文學、社會、藝術及當代文化脈搏的「多媒體多語系」舞台作品。

Despite my experimental theatre training and works in London, this is by far the most challenging and inspiring experience of me working with a small but yet truly talented group of artists in an experimental process.  The show will be performed in 4 different languages of Cantonese (mainly), English, Mandarin, and Fukin.  I am extremely glad to have this for my debut in Hong Kong and your support will mean a lot to us!
