Olympic Basketball

The redeem team....the US Basketball Team came back from a close first quarter to defeat Greece 92-69..............a team that defeated the US Team in Athens.........US concentrated on tight defense and aggressive ball handling......in Athens the Greek Team shot 62%....but not last night being held to 42%..............the US Team to have a shot at the gold must play like last night....they still have to face the Team from Spain....the World Champions........and a tough Argentina.......FIBA Basketball is a little different from the NBA Game....so the Americans have had to adapt.........some fouls they don't call....and you are allowed to swat the ball off the rim.....with their jumping ability the American Team did just that knocking balls off the rim last night.  Well now on to the next opponent......this though is still in the round robin.......many more games to play still.  It's important to note Spain also has 3 wins and eventually the Redeem Team must meet them.

Defence was name of the game last night by the US Basketball Team!  Dwayne Wade lead the way with steals and tough defense.
