A Sign of the Times?

If you look around things are not going to well in the "real" world...............millions of people loosing their jobs........homes being foreclosed.....GM wants more money.............and senators flying first class for $14,000.........a pop..........decisions, decisions, decisions.........and no body wants to do anything that might make them look bad later to their constituents...........hey that's us................................so the California Legislature decides to do nothing instead of approving a budget.......one Republican holding out............cause it costs too much...........and of course he is a no Tax raiser..........dude how are you going to raise money without taxes?  So tomorrow morning we loose 20,000  more jobs  in the State as they argue...........in the meantime Obama's Stimulus Package isn't going to work according to the Republicans in Congress........guys you lost the election, let's get on with rebuilding the Country!!  You know times are bad when even Disney has problems.......looks like we will be going our separate ways this year..........Disney has decided not to continue with Tiger Claw and will do their own thing.........so this year there will only be one Tiger Claw Tournament..........June 27, we will be having the Tournament with BASKA....Bay Area Sport Karate Association...........headed by Sensei Tony Katengill.......................should be good as his association has continued to hold great tournaments in the Bay Area.............when I was competing in the Karate Circuit........I competed against him on many occasins..........he knows what competitors want.........a fair tournament with good judges and nice prizes.  Those of you in the Bay Area please support this event.........we need events like this to improve the qualitiy of our competitors..............Wushu can only continue as a sport if we all represent.....otherwise these events just will go away.....in this economy we must all pitch in to support each other!!

Also, coming up on Feb 28, will be InMat..........International Martial Arts Tournament....to be held at the CPAA Facility in San Jose..................the Shaolin Monks will be hosting the event......it was really small last year.................I do hope more people will attend this year....again Wushu needs everyone's support................if we work together we can accomplish anything.......when will the politicians ever learn.  Ah well, thems the times.......cya all!
