On the Australian Wushu Team during the 1988 International Wushu Competition in Hanzhou, China.
Antony received his first degree from Bond University, in Australia, with a double major in finance and media productions. Topping his year and gaining awards, including Excellence in Student Film Direction and Best Overall Achievement in Video Production, Antony was offered a scholarship for a Masters Degree in Mass Communications, which he declined.
Lived 3 years in China during which time he advanced his studies and training in wushu (Chinese martial arts) at the Beijing Institute of Physical Education (now known as the Beijing Sport University).
Speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
In 1995, the Szeto directed one-shot music video, EXP's "Come Back to Me", was voted Philippines Top Ten Music Video.
Won a Director of a First Feature Film Award from the Australian Directors Guild for DragonBlade. The film was also nominated for a Golden Horse Award in 2006, and was one of five films selected for the 2006 Golden Rooster Hundred Flower Film Festival in China for the HK, Macau, and Taiwan film selections.
