VANS SYNDICATE

I remember when I first saw Vans Syndicate was when Kent Uyehara (FTC) came to Hong Kong and he was wearing his Mountain Edn Low in Navy canvas, I was amazed.

When I asked him about it, he told me it was the new line that the Vans team was putting together.

I was like, fuck sun, I have to have that collection at 8FIVE2SHOP cause yo, they fit perfectly!

Anyway, fast forward to toady, I met 3 out of the 4 people that started Vans Syndicate (Jon, Jay and Rian), 3 of the most amazing amigos on the real!

They got their heads straight and they totally know what they’re doing. I’m seriously so glad that the 4 of them are handling (including Tom) Vans Syndicate.

I remember when Jay hooked me up with 2 pairs of the Jason Jesse x Syndicate collabo; THE OLD SKOOL (with original Old Skool last) and THE SK8 HI, which are both made out of premium leather with extra insole with metal. I’ve been rocking those 2 shoes like crazy.

In 2009, Syndicate decided to do the second collabo with Jason Jesse, this time both of them are SK8 HI with a little twist at the back of the arch area. SFD (not San Francisco District), it’s SUPER FUCKIN DOPE! Again, good job fellas!

I can’t wait to see what Syndicate will bring to the table in the upcoming season.
