The men at Menknowpause are not easily intimidated by women. But we have at least three reasons to be in awe of Angie Ng:

  1. Standing at 5'11.5", Angie is a London-based model. A bit out of our league.

  2. At 22, she's a semester away from finishing her Law degree at the University of Reading. Great. She's smart too AND can win arguments?

  3. She loves her high heels. Woe is us, the short.

These factors aside, we figured that Angie was a sweetheart. The Penang-born beauty hasn't lost her small town charm amidst her new-found fame. And because sharing is caring, here she spills:

Age 22

Stats: 33-25-34

Height; 5'11.5

Education: final year in a law degree (due in may.. Arrgh! )

Availability: SingleI moved to London at the end of October, last year. I study in Reading University, which is approximately 30 minutes away from London. Who can resist the city right? :) Yes I am here to complete my final year of a law degree.

I want to earn some extra cash on the side, that's why I do part-time modeling here in the UK. But reality slapped me in the face when I found that the industry here is like it is back home, where things are more laid back. It has indeed opened up my eyes to a real dog-eat-dog world: it's very competitive.

Being an ethnic model makes it even tougher. I went knocking on doors to get an agency to represent me, which wasn't easy. When I finally landed an agency, it didn't get any easier because I had to compete with 50-100 girls at every casting. But it feels oh-so-amazing being a model here. It definitely is a dream come true!

A regular day for me would be waking up, eating breakfast, and attending classes. When I don't have classes, I go for casting. I normally Google the casting locations and then off I go on the tube, to 'travel' with my books and high heelsif needed. I would head home in the evening and settle for takeout, or cook my own dinner, and spend the rest of the night doing my school work. When I'm not busy, I would hang out with my friends.

n508571428_1658407_4660695.jpgI feel more beautiful now than ever, but not because I am an International model, rather because I found comfort in myself. I guess I've grown and learned that beauty is most importantly felt by ourselves, not judged by others

The most beautiful feature of Asian girls are their thick black hair, complimented by their little dark-brown eyes. For me, the model that personifies Asian beauty would be Han Jin, a New York-based Korean model. I personally love her look. Being an ethnic model working in Europe, I am often mistaken for a Mongolian-Chinese because of my height... :p beats me!!... I am Pure Chinese....:)

I do get approached by guys but I don't think it's much different then when I was back home. However, some of the guys here are more daring; quite intimidating and kind of sleazy... I don't go out often here; I have too much to do, with my studies and work to balance.

I feel sexy when soaping up a warm rich lather in the shower, dried off with a soft, fluffy towel which would hug my body, and rubbing rich creamy body butter all over my skin, and to end, finally putting on a white silk lingerie. Heavenly!

I like a man with character and vision. That to me, is appealing. Most importantly my man must be someone that can vibe with me. I need to be able to effortlessly have a great time with him. A man who is funny, sings, dances, and owns some good looks are plus points! :) Am I asking for too much now? Oh well, every girl has a dream man right?
