Whats good. For those with no clue of who I am, this is Allurre =) or.. call me Andrew. I'm currently CEO/Artist of my entertainment/fashion company: LUXLIVIN ENT. I self-compose/produce/dance/fashion design/market/PR/A&R & manage most the business operations. If you haven't noticed.. i'm all bout entrepreneurship. Thank you for your time. With all honesty, I'd describe myself as an initiative, self-directed, independent, entrepreneurial, and reasonably extroverted cat. I move at my own pace, and possess an unwavering commitment to establishing my own lane, brand, and entity. As of now, my primary focuses are to further my career – I’m curious to see what shape and forms it’ll take on; to ceaselessly pursue for education -- you can never learn enough, I live to learn; and last but not least, rainmaking.
When making music, I crave for professionalism, sheer passion, flair and flavor. To an extent, having your own signature sound and your own swag is essential to success; but versatility is gold and the key to longevity. There’s also no need to ride off anyone’s coattail, if ever. A principle I follow is to endlessly strive for perfection when cutting records – from penning the song to the mix down phases – everything has to be on point. Attention should be paid to every detail.
Never the complacent one, and never idle, I will continue and will be open to work on new projects where I can contribute; whether a club-ready, street-anthem or tear-jerking ballad, I believe I am well rounded and capable to cater to all urban soundscapes.
Besides from courting a musical career, I also have an unflinching determination to play my position as an executive marketing somewhere, and hopefully, sometime soon in the entertainment (preferably music) industry. As the field of distribution and promotion continues to dramatically alter, I believe marketers must look beyond traditional media and capitalize off Internet as an advertising medium, which entails Podcasting, Push technologies, Banner Ads, and an abundance of rich medias available. The Internet is soon to be an indispensable marketing tool. Hm, ok, that's as far as I'll preach on for e-marketing.
My strengths and dedication encompasses songwriting, rapping, and dancing. I'm not afraid to venture into foreign or unfamiliar territories such as choreographing and music video directing – there’s always room for self-improvement and growth.
I tend to gravitate towards innovative choreography, quality productions, and just good music in general. I appreciate and like to relish the finer things in life – who doesn't? To this day, I've collected a wealth of experiences in and out the booth and industry, over ground and underground. Having the opportunity to be part of a culturally diversified community is something to be grateful of.
In an individual, I look for character, humor, and dignity. I love criticisms, they only make me better – that is if the judgment is sound. Things in life I despise are hypocritical and changing faces; those who are ignorant and unknowingly arrogant. For those caught on guilty charges, literally speaking, I can forgive and be merciful. I believe in second chances but I'll never forget the wrongdoings.
In the near future, I'd like to step up and establish my own record label, clothing line, alcohol brand, and open up several snazzy nightclubs. As you might have noticed, I am over ambitious and I do set high expectations for myself. I believe in no competition and only in outdoing me. It’s a grind to five. I'm always putting work in – I’d certainly pass for a workaholic – Seeing me rested and relaxed is as rare as finding another R&B artist turned rapper like Tyrese. I am my own therapy session, my own moral support and inspiration. Bringing out the best of me is a must. For every second that I breathe, I will continue to push myself to new heights.
I am interested in meeting new, aspiring, multitalented, musically intuitive artists and individuals I can discuss views upon the many facets of life and learn practical wisdoms from.
