Alice's Favorite Things 12 Days Holiday Giftaway: Day 10 & Smashbox
I have a special relationship with Smashbox Photofinish. It's the very first primer I ever purchased. In fact, I believe I still have the first one I bought (it was in the old air pump packaging) somewhere in my apt.
I remember the ah-ha moment I had when I used the Photofinish on a model for the first time for a makeup test with my friend Amy, a great photographer, and I never worked with out a primer ever again.
Many people are unaware that Smashbox is a brand that was developed to help professional makeup artists solve problems and resolve issues that arise while creating makeup looks for use on camera. For me, as an artist, this is of particular importance, as much of my work is for photography and video and not generally for day to day.
One of the people who works on the team to help ensure Smashbox products are up to standard is
Lori Taylor Davis, a fantastic, accomplished makeup artist, known for all her work with the brand over the past 11 years.
Lori kindly carved some time out of her holiday schedule to offer some quick beauty advice and share her warmest holiday memories with me on
Examiner, so please stop by and read what she has to say!
And, since I can't live without a primer in my makeup routine, you should not have to either! Enter the rafflecopter below for a chance to win one of multiple Smashbox Photofinish Primers.
