FAR EAST FILM FESTIVAL 2009: LINE-UP & GUESTS

There will be 56 titles from 9 Far East countries (China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and Singapore) and 35 guests who’ll do interviews and participate to the daily seminars. An impressive retrospective dedicated to Hong Kong director Ann Hui will propose over 10 hours of her TV works from the 70’s, which were never seen in the West before. There will also have a special section about Thai-Action movies, a workshop dedicated to intercontinental formation in cinema, and a live performance by the Japanese psych rock band Yura Yura Teikoku.
