now. i was walking back from my friend's apt in west village.
watched LOST tht night. it's a complete serious fact, i ABSOLUTELY, more absolute then the absolute drink itself, tht I OFFICIALLY HATE THIS 2 CHARACTER – KATE + JACK! they should just die in tht show. arghhh. i never really hate anyone, esp not on like a TV show. they are all 'bogus' (i grow to like this word recently :P) but still, the bogus-ness of these 2 characters is way out of hand. they suk as the character. i love Swayer (Josh Holloway), Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick), Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Faraday (Jeremy Davies). they are all great characterrrrrr!!!! and they all look 'good'!!!!! *drool*

ok. Stanton Social, double bday brunch was fantastic. (did i blog bout this already? lost track..)
anyway, another thing i wanna mentioned from tht week was I BUMPED INTO ---------

he was walking his dog. hahaha! def. NOT as goofy or crazy as he appeared in most of his photos. hahaha! i said hi and asked him about his exhibition/time in HK diesel party. he said it was his first time in HK, and it was really great time. *wink* so AnD, *kudos kudos kudos* he's a really nice calm guy. chat with him while crossing the road and it was a nice day. hahaha!

then flushing flushing! it was totally fun fun fun. we all met like we already knew each other very well! everyone is a sweetheart!!!!!!!!!!!! then i found a store tht sells mostly malaysian product! *psyche* got some babas curry powder (really recommend this brand for cooking curry. flavorful.) and some 'kopi-o' packages for my malaysian friend in primary school wholives in chicago with her family. then i FINALLY found someone who can share durian with, *drum roll* BLUEAMRUB!!!! by the way, blueamrub, WE SHOULD EAT IT ON MOTT STREET LIKE SOON!!!! HAHAHAHAH!!!! *smile*

oh. yea. it ended up NOT a hot pot luncheon. i guess tht means, another meeting for HOT POT FOR REAL PLS? i wanna eat hot pot!!!!!!!!! oh and weather tht day was SUPERB. the best day for outdoor. better than any of these crappy day in NY lately. it's like we skip Spring and Summer, back to Fall now oh ppl of NY! *brrrrrrrrr*

next stop! i got super busy and didn't have time to set up our next activity, the sakura matsuri at brooklyn botanical garden (prospect park) event. *sigh* sorry ppl of AnD........but Blueamrub did carry on the plan and we made it! hahaha! by we i mean me and blueamrub. haha!!!! butter wanted to join but got a ticket to baseball game, and merilyn did show up but she meet up around an hour before we leave the park.

nice day out. Blueamrub posted the photos and stuff for tht trip, and yea, same here, the bleeding heart flowers are the one tht capture my attention the most! oh oh...and HIM!


the opportunity to capture this photo ended my day–happily ever after! *giggle* also, very thankful to my friend maelle for allowing me to play with her camera. I NEED MY OWN!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

following tht night, i have 2 friends' going away party, and 1 friend's bday...tht week was insane! so edgar, our beloved french greek gay bisexual is leaving US for good. he basically got screwed by the company he worked in. first, he got sent to NJ to work for a year where they promise he'll be back in NY after tht. then nope, instead, he got kicked out without notice and now he's back in france. miss him already.


he didn't even remember he ended up at this place and meeting me. surprise? nope.

his party was a real chill going away party. but then again, he's not leaving the US. so, he still can come visit NY. *smile*

again, it was so much fun to just observe ppl from corners and 'snap', 'snap', 'snap' away! hahaha!!! but eventually, most ppl doesn't like my candid shots. i had to took down what i've posted, so no photos to share. *shrug* i don't know. i used to care how i look in photos, but now, man, life! capturing the moment! so much fun to see what facial expression you have! hahaha!!! priceless!!! i love it. though i do capture my 'headshot' nicely, but i do like it when things look ugly on me sometimes. balance balance! *yay* i love my life!

so. this video actually made me go search and wanted to see how ppl respond to it. i just wanted to see how Justice fan will just love it blindly just cause it's Justice music, or they have something to stand up against them. i have to say this MV interest me in the curiosity way. definitely wanted to know more of what ppl think about it.

under youtube comments, results not very positive as mostly are in french. hahaha! (translator? anyone?) but did found this site tht discussed about it.

1- exaggerated? probably agree to it. i don't think anyone can get away with such action. but reason you see what you see? it's a music video. it didn't state as documentary. and as we all know, is there a limit to music video content? purpose? reason? i don't know, but i don't think there is. rules and regulations, of course. but such case? is it wrong? is it inappropriate? *shrug*

to the point the video is exaggerated, i think it's a smart way to say, i can get away with it cause i exaggerated it. so i can say, i didn't really depict the life of the suburbs in paris. i'm creating one and i never state it's true. it's open for you to think what you want to think. so, does this make the music video an art piece? can ppl see it tht way? i sorta did cause i don't really associates it directly with "oh tht's how the parisian suburbs are. i should never go there." nope. it's probably like 'don't judge a book by it's cover'?

agree again to his take on making a buzz out of this music video (look what i'm doing now? LOL), and yes, i'd like to ask Romain Gavras AND Justice duo, "What exactly are you guys trying to do?"


2- young mind, but smart take, esp on the one tht state this is to bring up the subject, to create a debate. not so sure about who's right or wrong on this. thus, another interesting take on the power of internet in today's media, nothing can really be ban or censored.

so tht make me question, where is the limit of the world wide web? is it going to be like a black hole? *wow* don't take me wrong. i like the internet. i get access to many things i can't reach. but probably parental control is necessary for proper content choices.


3- agree. young minds are easily influence if parents are not around for guidance. man...humans are complicated. is media complicating these issues? if there is not media, can the parents guide their children better? i don't think so. i guess we all should just know how to balance things.

also, i personally feel, one will know once one experience things oneself. sometimes, we just need to go through tough stages to get to the easy stage. heck! there are different sets of levels in video games too! and video games are created by human! so? ahhaha! i'm going way off. but my point is, yea. life. learn it the hard way, be blessed with the right way, open to see both the hard and blessed way. (does tht make any sense? LOL! to me it does...)

all and all, i have to agree tht the music video does convey 'STRESS' as the title state. the sound itself is stressful enough, and by adding the visuals, bam! so, tht's my take of Justice making this video just as simple as an art piece. it does express what the music is trying to tell us. after all, a feeling is always hard to express in words or visuals. being in the creative field myself, i want to applaud to Justice in transmitting the feeling of stress successfully through sound and visual. tht's the only part i appreciate for this music and video.

to go all the way back, i have always question this duo reason of naming themselves Justice and using the cross as a symbol. in marketing point of view, smart choices. the symbol, the name definitely create a topic to anyone tht talks about it. in music point of view. no comment. in artist point of view, no comment but it's a fun symbol/idea/concept to play with. lots more buzz will be born from this idea/concept! go Justice! hahaha!

also...does this video degrade (not sure if this is the right word to use) Justice popularity status as the great electronic grandchild of daft punk? will Justice really do tht to themselves? not sure. but def will have lovers and haters out busting opinions. buzz it is. buzz it is.
