WOO! The last few weeks have been hectic for me, to say the least. I've come back to San Francisco, moved into my new apartment (with some AWESOME roommates), got a new computer and some new software, started classes, and helped a friend move into his new apartment. This on top of having to look for a job again (will I ever find one?!?!?) leaves little time for blogging and saying hi to everyone.

That said, I have been having a lot of fun with my life, despite all the crazy stuff. Living on your own is invigorating and nowhere near as hard as I thought it would be! Sure, you've got a bit more responsibility but I get to eat ice cream for dinner without getting dirty looks anymore!

Anyway, the new mac is working out great, I like the OS (not as much as windows XP....I had sooooo much custom stuff for XP) but still cant get past a few minor things in it. I suppose I'll get used to it eventually though. Can't wait to get bootcamp and XP running on this baby though, perhaps Windows 7 will run as well.

As much as I'm enjoying playing with OSX, I can't get to grips with Logic (which is the software I'm using to write tunes, DUH!). It looks really pretty though.

My problem is that I can't do things the same way I did in either FL Studio or Reason. Its a lot like Cubase in some ways, but I was way less baffled at the way cubase was laid out. Anyway, I'll just have to read the manual and practice a bunch with it.

Thats all for now I suppose, will update later when I have more time.

    Edit:

Also, Bruce Springsteen rocks. That is all.

Bootcamp huh :-) I gave up and running Mac and PC on separate systems now. I love my Mac but mostly use command lines, still fuzzy with their glossy apps. and where things are. I don't love the way they map the filesystem at all. I didn't like Wins 7 either but it's okie, most of my day is spent on UNIX systems so less is more.  Glad ur back and things are shifting through smoothly. It seemed like yesterday you were in OR ya know.

PB sandwich would be a better dinner. Or a celery stalk. Yes? What part of SF are you in now? Lovin' the fog again? =D And I must say you've really slacked off on the reading. What was keeping you busy in OR? How's dog?

You have ice-cream for dinner? Weirdo!!! I always thought you were weird.

I'm the same on the job front though, I still can't get one either, it bites big hairy ones. It seems that McDonald's doesn't even want me. What is the world coming to?

XP rocked. I am now the proud owner of our old XP tower minus hard drive because it broke. I'm gonna get a cheap one and run Ubuntu Linux on it. Lucky it doesn't need a large processor. Then all I need is a good keyboard (hopefully I can still get a USB one) and a flat screen monitor. I already have a mouse. I can't remember if it could wirelessly connect to the internet or not. I guess I'll just have to find out. If it does, it'll be awesome.

reason exists already for mac, get a copy!.... FL is the single thing i miss of PC.... everything else is mac, you'll find out in a minute....
running xp on a mac is like washing your feet with a sock.... defies all purpose of buying a mac....
