Found something online and got excited

End of last year, i did a website for BMW campaign call BMWshorties 2007. Launch on Dec 2006 and the competition ends around march 2007. Feedback and campaign was a huge success because this is the first ever campaign in Malaysia which depended fully on online media and PR. Which mean no print material involve. Only the website and the PR agency generated some press releases.
There were 70+ entries which is very good. Hype is over now, since is already end of 2007. Today i am so free and into the mood on writing & surfing, i googled about bmwshorties. Suprisingly, i found a student from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) blog about the BMWshorties screening. I spotted the banner they holding printed the 10 banner i created for the finalist.
Our task is to create the online creatives only. But when i see them using my creation for Shorties 2nd phase last year, i just got so excited. Wanted to note down to keep myself motivated. Hahaha (^(00)^)
Is not my glory, i just shiok sendiri la (malaysian english - meaning happy and excited). I still remember when i received the 70++ DVD submission, i was like AHH.... the submission requirement never mention abt movie poster, so i gotto create all the 10 movie poster from scratch..... i spend 1 whole day watching the short films again and again. To capture some interesting scene for their movie poster. I watch until i can almost memorise all the plot for each shorties. Fun to watch only once, but not AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN AND AGAIN.
However, job is done. Client is happy. My boss is happy. And i am happy too. Although no one notice who is the person doing all this job behind. Everyone were just toking about the director or about the short film. But i do felt happy seeing client happy on our creatives.
Does that poster count as my creative? half of my creative? 10%? HAhaha i Dunno man... a bit of confusion going on... but i created the poster.... hahaha
whatever, not important for others. Just happy here.

Sometimes working day and night is really boring and lonely. Sometimes even feel like i am going nuts .....how to release stress? Yaya 24 years old with lotsa toys on my table. Some say is time to grow up. But they are mine best companion working through many late nights.

Show you my baby

I am happy to announce that my baby is finally lived middle of september 2007. Been working on this alone for the pass 3 months. From mocks, html development. Programming still need a Pro to help me out. However i am happy to see my baby working fine and HEALHTY (BUGLESS) haha....
Of coz there is room of improvement. Will do better next time. This is my first biggest project in hand. Official McDonald Malaysia Website 2007.
I am very happy working on McDonald's stuff. I developed Mini Cooper Owner's portal last year. Although the nature of the brand were both fun, but is aiming at a total different of segment target. I enjoy working on McD much much more. Mayb i personaly loves food a lot. There fore, by looking at food shot already can make me happy. Some might say, "don't you feel hungry easily always looking at the yummy food?" Errmm... frankly, no. Same theory applies to those who sell food, they won't feel like eating it. Buthen they are sure enjoying it.

Clearing up my mail box. Checking through all the enews subscrīption i made and saw this Local ad in Malaysia. I am really entertained. All the while i am not impress by this yellow man. I dun think it is nice or nothing near cute. Buthen after seeing this. What i could say is WELL DONE!
The yellow man is SO MUCH FITTER right now... haha no more big tummy.. Each scene, angle and colour were capture nicely. The yellow man are building up muscle now! hahah definately sent me the msg "BECOME STRONGER". The best part is the mucho post at the end... HAHAHAHA OMG. i am praying them. I love the signal bar as to represent the rank hahaha.. 服啊! *THUMBS UP*

Hi Hi hi, my real name is YenC, buthen i am a bit superstitious, found out my name is not that good for future, therefore found myself a new name ---- RYONG.
Dun ever trust my photos, my brother always says my photo is so fake. Reason, i am so much fatter. coz i know photoshop and might play with angle sometimes, therefor i have some beautiful photo to cheer myself up.
I am a boring web designer in Malaysia. Spending average 14 hours per day in front of the computer. Research, not much, but spend lotsa time on amending stuff for client. Or i am a slow poke, i dunno..... Where do i hang around? Friendster, multiply, xanga, youtube, emails.....
can see i have a lifeless life here.... need to have a change huh.. too unhealthy right now.
