  • A Beyond the Era Experience, Jay Chou Part 1

    Saturday, Sep 25, 2010 3:52AM / Members only

I know it's my 2nd time going to Jay's concert this year. I'm pretty much un-excited myself on this trip. I just thought it'll be a very ordinary concert, with Jay singing and I singing along, he maybe noticing that there's a feilubin banner, or maybe not.

I booked PAL flight 8pm bound to HK, surprisingly, we changed our flight when I learned that Jacky Cheung is going to Taipei on the same date we're arriving HK. It was a chance to meet him again. 540AM is our flight to HK via Cebu Pacific, we thought after landing at HKIA, we'll just hang around and not go through immigration at once. We planned to find the boarding gates for 3 different possible flights for CX bound to Taipei. For being so smart alecky, I forgot that we had to go to the 2nd floor to get to the departure area and there's no way we can enter the transfer flight area 'coz we don't have any tix to show... neh? So we spent a lousy 1 hour just figuring out how to get out of immigration and to the 2nd floor. AFter which, Dichie went ahead while me and achie pushed our oh-so-many luggage bound 2nd floor. We checked the check-in counter for CX flight, there are two check-in lanes, B and C. I asked achie to go through C while I check for dichie if she's in B. I saw dichie's back, I made a 'pssst...' sound and she was frantic to see me, she was pointing at the opposite direction where I saw Ms. Flora Chan (Jacky's manager) I alerted achie at the other side and we stood by waiting for Mr. CHeung.

AFter almost 20 minutes, we saw Mr. Cheung's assistant Ah-Fai and he said "GOod Morning" to us. THen we greeted him as well and saw Mr. Cheung talking on the phone. I thought the phone was quite 'bading' coz it's pink, then I realized he was talking to another fan... tsk... Jacky values all his fans talaga... Anyhoo, he saw us and waved and smiled. Then I heard him say where are we going to take pictures? WHile the other fans were taking turns taking pics with him, DIchie and Me were talking w/ Ah-fai asking him to bring the goodies to Taiwan and back. :) He was about to reject the idea but finally gave in. He was asking: "Where's Mr. Cheung's?" So funny he calls Jacky Cheung Mr. Cheung. xD AFter that, we were a bit stressed as we guard our luggage and tried to squeeze in ourselves w/ Mr. Cheung. Conversation was a bit scarce that time 'coz there's a lot of fans around, but achie managed to do another stupid thing by calling Mr. Cheung "Tai Lou". That's how we call him but it was never meant to be called personally when you're in front of him. Tai lou in cantonese literally means big brother, it evolved and now it means 'big boss of a gang'. He responded as well and said: "I haven't been called 'tai lou' for a while now..." hahaha...

After meeting Mr. Cheung, we ate at Ajisen while waiting for Auntie Bia and Yam. :)

Gifts for Jielun and the others
I was able to successfully give our gifts to the staff and Jielun. We even saw them bring it to the venue, nice of them. :)

    Got our wonderful tickets
    First night for us, 9/18/2010-- Seat numbers: Row BC Seat# 90, 91, 92, 93, 86, 87, 88, 89
I can't believe the tickets I got. I won't divulge how I got it, but it's just meant to be for us. FEI LU BIN Friends!!!

Entered the Blue gate, I was sweating and trying not to look excited. I kept showing our tickets to the ushers just in case I went far too down the coliseum. But it seems like a our descend never ended. We went further further down until I can see vividly the speakers, the whole stage, the musical instruments and everything onstage. WE were literally screaming for JOY. What did I do to deserve this? It was months of painstaking emails... I hope Jielun was able to feel our love and support for him. The gifts worth nothing compared to the support we're giving to him. Personally, I wanted to let him know that it's not the looks, it's not the diao moves that made me like him as a fan. It was what he's living up for and his good influence that gave hope to every youth. He is one good person, he really is.

As the concert started, we sang along like there's no tomorrow. He started with the song "Long Zhan Qi Shi" (Dragon Rider); Followed by "Beyond Era" (Kua Shi Dai); "Snake Dance" (She Wu) w/ Lara then "Love before AD" (Ai Zai Xi Yuan Qian) w/ the cool Beatbox; Hiphop Hostess (XI Ha KOng JIe); Then the song "William's CAstle" (Wei Lian Gu Bao) then "I'm Not Worthy" (Wo Bu Pei); A series of piano songs: Dao Xiang, Yang Guang Zhai Nan, Long Juan Feng and Yan hua yi leng; THen he sang a duet with Cindy "An Jing"; Of course there's Mr. Magician then my favorite "Free Promotional Videos"; "Time Machine" where he started singing on the big screen tube, very nice... "Dad I'm Back", "It rained the whole night"; "A Diary of Love waiting to Fly"; Then our all time favorite-- Jian Dan Ai. Mr. Eric Tsang as guest who sang "CHrysanthemum Stage" and "Yan Hua Yi Leng"; Then a few more songs Yi Fu Zhi Ming (In the name of the father); Ke Ai Nu Ren (Adorable Girl)--love this song; Give me a song's moment; Dong Feng Po and then the last song Nunchucks (Shuang Jie Gun).

Enumerating those songs seem like he sang a lot, but for us, we were hoping the night wouldn't end and he sings more than we expect.

    The Highlight of the concert
Jay started singing 'Tornado' or 'Long Juan Feng' he was mumbling something in English! If you're a Jay fan, you know very well that he doesn't speak in English in such spontaneous manner. We were so surprised he did that. He was saying: "Next song is (Slowly... siu siu dek slowly... Slow song love song... 3...4...)

You think it will end just like that when...

    Jay: Are you from HK?
    Fan: I'm from Taipei
    Jay: Taipei (In English Accent)
Jay: Okay how about Japan? Oh we have many Japanese friends here... Hello! My Cantonese is very poor but you don't understand so that's okay...
Jay: Today... Aiyo...tsk...hey... that banner, what's written in that? Philippines!!! (whoa) Fei-lu-bin ...Language... that I can't speak... But it doesn't matter, what matters most is we're all happy, right? My fans are not bounded by nationality, every country united together, that is because music is our best language... whoa!!! So if my English is not good, it doesn't matter now, 'coz I can still shoot the Green Hornet... 'coz I'll dub it all again later on... (cold joke)... Kidding aside, I've been practicing my English diligently... I know HK has many good English schools so today, I won't speak in English, alright? THe next song is: TIme Machine

I felt proud yet scared when Jay mentioned us. It's practically suicidal mentioning Philippines in front of 8000 HK people. Not that the hostage scene was our fault but we were indirectly a part of that crime scene 'coz it was held here in the Philippines. The word is "Da dan" Meaning very daring that one doesn't feel it matters to others as long as it matters to him. He suddenly became our Hero, the one who called out to us... 'FEI LU BIN' a very very clear and proud 'FEI LU BINnnnnn...'

For 3 hours, we were singing along with Jay, that's why after the concert, we lost practically all our voices :( But this kind of experience is just too good to be feeling sorry for our voices, the only regret that I have is that I wasn't able to convince the best of my jay fangirl buddies to watch this AWESOME, INCOMPARABLE CONCERT.

September 19, 2010-- Our Last night... Row BB Seat no. 90, 91 and 92
    It was the 2nd Row.
I saw everything about Jielun. I was focused to how he sings, how he moves and how funny he looks when upclose. His guest was Nanquan Mama. He was full of funny stints inside him that I can't stop laughing.

There was one funny story he was telling, it goes:
Jay: Ngo Hai Pin Ko (Who am I)
    Crowd: Zhou Jie Lun
Jay: No, you have to answer Tsi So Hai Bin To (Where's the toilet) 'coz it rhymes. Right? It does rhyme!
Jay: Then I'll answer, Ngo m tsi dou (I don't know)
Jay: So when I ask Ngo Hai Pin ko, you have to answer Tsi so hai bin to, then I'll reply with Ngo m tsi dou... Just three sentences: Ngo hai pin ko, tsi so hai bin to, ngo m tsi to...

I was trying to hold my camera to stop it from shaking 'coz I was giggling so much. He is doing quite well with his hosting stuff. I believe he's preparing himself for that new variety show that's why he kept on putting up jokes in front of the audience.

Another one was that he was introducing Nan Quan Mama:
Jay: You know who was my guest before you guys came here? Jacky Cheung (wow); ERic Tsang (Wow) then... eooonkk... Nan Quan Mama (Whose that?) *JIelun was trying to insult NANQUAN MAMA...*

But Nanquan mama were not easily defeated by this insult...
NQMM: You know, we also called someone to be your guest, someone by the name "Cai Tong Xue" (That's how Jay calls Jolin). Look, that girl in the middle row looks like Cai Tong Xue, doesn't she??? Oh I can even invite Patty Hou if you like...
Jay: alright enough enough.... (Cutting Nqmm... this is quite funny...)

During Jian Dan Ai, we tried to give him our small flower which he didn't bother to get. Maybe he was so shy 'coz he is a man after all. What we did is put it at the center stage as he sang Jian Dan Ai, then I took a picture of it, quite a lonely bouquet haphazardly lying on the stage... When the song ended, a securestar took it from the stage and god knows where it went. :(

He sang Hei Se Mao Yi tonight in replacement of Wo Bu Pei. Quite nice though and he even sang Hei Se YOu Mo, thank god I've been waiting for this song 'coz it's the one he sang in Taipei.

Then, after the last song Nunchucks. Everybody was still shouting for an Encore, he came out with an additional Song Qi Li Xiang and Mr. Chou (Zhou Da Xia). The night ended as we took off the venue with heavy feet and heart. It was our last night... Such a memorable night.

September 21, 2010-- Jielun!!! Babay Jay!
Those were my last words to Jielun. After I went to get my signed CD Covers courtesy of a friend, we stood for 3 more hours under the rain at the Yellow Gate. People passed by, Ju pao, dan tou and some dancers... we stood there 'til Jay came up at around 5pm. Two vans came by and the other van blocked our view from Jielun. THe only consolation was, when I shouted 'Jielun' he waved his arms as he walked through the entrance. It was our last chance to say goodbye jielun... until we meet again. :(

  • BFF?

    Thursday, Aug 5, 2010 1:15AM / Members only

Since the start of the year, I managed to gain two great friends at work. We crack at jokes only we understood. We had such great times amidst some differences... of culture, of thinking and approach in life.

MONEY Makes your world go round, right? Yes. You can go AROUND the world; You can beat AROUND the bushes; You can make anything go ROUND with just a few Ninoys... stuff like that.

Well, I am a hypocrite if I say I don't like Money, who here doesn't? But I don't love it too much that I can sell one of my dearest friends, even if the relationship just lasted for 7 months now? I think...

To cut the story short, someone lost a love one on the 2nd week and then lost lots of her belongings 2 weeks after. It was tragic. But we were there for her. It's just like after she had that traumatic experience of losing every material thing, it came to us that from the looks of it, she looked more depressed losing her things over her brother. Anyway, not to judge her, but that's just what I thought, well... A friend and I thought...

I won't go into detail but just 2 days ago, we had this appraisal meeting and our manager called us both and questioned us why we were questioning the Overtime of other people and yet we can't keep our error rates below the margin. That we instead of pinpointing people, being jealous over people, we should mind what we are doing. Yes. Sampal yon. But then, we see how our ex-friend take the opportunity of doing so much OTs that I swear I know our manager didn't keep track of. We were off peak during June for godsakes but she was partying with OVERTIME. That's why she was robbed during a saturday 'coz she was doing OT. I know we're not suppose to complain about it but whatthefuck if the finance division knew about this unnecessary OT, it might affect us as well. But of course, there's limit to everything we say to our manager since we know something he doesn't know but we can't tell him 'coz it will be a major foul. He still insists that the OTs are fine and we are allowed to do OTs, even if our native languages are already not on queue. We shall help Hyderabad with the English files. Ok fine, that's not what we asked for but it's what you insist, fine. We'll join the bandwagon, so OT here we come. We'll see how long this unnecessary ot will last.

THe nerve of that friend to throw the blame on the two of us, just because we know everything about her. She's feeding her bf and sending him off to school. There you go~ And I wish you happiness on your wedding on August. When did he propose? ooopss... I forgot, he didn't. You just wanted to get married 'coz nobody helped you during your darkest days. Wow... so what did Ms. Norway do while you stayed in her condo while your apartment was still under investigation? (THIS PARAGRAPH IS INTENDED TO BE READ IN FULL SARCASM). x.X

As for the team, goodluck, we'll see the outcome of this so called legal OT after a few weeks. We became the bad guys. Okay, fair enough. Then let us be the bad guys while we were concerned about the company's reaction on the OTs our team are having. People talk, and someone's almost in danger, he's not a perfect manager but he's a people manager, at least down to earth maybe? But because some people abuse his kindness and leniency, he doesn't realize that he's burying himself deep.

We turned out to be jealous, nosy and bitches. Thanks so much for the compliment.

Needless to say, it's obvious that...

Friendship is over, Maya. Hope your money saves you from your depression.

    Sad to say.

    A Quote for you:
Money can buy us anything, but then, you have to check if you're still left with those which money can't buy.

  • The Amazing Taiwan Race Jun 12-13, 2010

    Monday, Jun 21, 2010 11:58PM / Members only

    What: Taipei, Taiwan
    When: June 12-13, 2010
Why: Jay Chou's concert + First timers off to Taipei
Cast: Me, Chinggu, Joli, Terry, Julie & Friends, My officemates Maya and Justine
    What really happened: Amazing Race!!!

Considering my carelessness for details, our flight was booked from June 11, 2010 (22:30) bound to Taipei and June 14, 2010 (01:25) back to Manila. Which means I only have 2 days to spend in Taiwan.

After a whole day’s meltdown at work, Maya, Justine and I rode a cab from Ortigas (Work) to Terminal 3. We had dinner at 8pm while Justine had to do a away with a bottle of sake before taking off. While eating at a Japanese Restaurant inside Terminal 3, the usual topic came out from Jay our manager to Christine to Kumag. We went to the boarding gate 20 mins before it opened. As we get on to the plane, Justine was totally knocked out while Maya and I had a hard time falling asleep.

We arrived Taiwan at around 00:40 and officially passed the immigration at around 1:15AM. We were suppose to go to Terminal 2 but the last shuttle to T2 is at 1:10. So we were stuck in the Airport and had nothing to do but sleep on the chairs. I was suppose to get a handfull of Tourist Guide MAP with Jerry’s picture on it. I couldn’t find any of it on the way out so I tried looking around the desks and counters beside the chairs. Luckily, I found a stack of the MAP and grabbed around 2-3 inches thick worth of MAP Guides. =)

We arrived Taipei at around 7:00, ate some breakfast and went to the hotel to freshen up.

We met Julie’s friends and of course Terry. It was a rainy morning in Taipei and my feet was soaked wet. But this didn’t hinder me from squealing when I saw my merchandise all bought by Terry =)!!!

At around 10am, we went straight to Long Shan Temple and I did some rituals there while my other friends gave up on me and took pictures instead. Justine, my officemate finished the ritual though and also did some ‘chou qian’. “Chou Qian” is something you do if you want to ask the gods something you’re uncertain of. It’s like fortune telling, and it’s up to you really if you’re going to believe it or not, but it’s fun and it can serve a guide to you when you’re lost (in faith, in goal and in love…) Anyway, we spent almost one hour and a half to do all those things and I was quite relieved when we’re done ‘coz all the smoke was killing me. O_O…

Next stop: Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Park or the Freedom Park

Took some pictures here and there, did some water splashing here and there… We spent so much time taking pictures that we had only less than 30 minutes to tour the museum underground. We had to run to Mr. J ‘coz our reservation is at 2pm. We wouldn’t want to lose that reservation as the restaurant is jam packed with fans waiting outside. Yes, it’s jam packed.

Next Stop: Mr. J and Mr. Qute
Had a nice risotto at Jay’s Mr. J. It was yummy!!! I’ll order it next year, again. =) Had the chance to stay at the VIP room ‘coz there were 10 of us. Took some pictures with Jay peeking at a hallway (Faraway MV) and we also took a shot of our super WINNER tickets to Jay Chou’s The Era Concert. Then, bought a take out of Mr. Qute’s sweets and then off we go to Phantaci and Leftfoot.

There’s just one stupid thing I did before I was able to reserve the CORRECT DATE and TIME. Well, it was May 11, 2010 and I was in the office thinking of my itenerary. I thought I will do everything in advance so I won’t be cramming when that day comes. I reserved for 10 pax on June 11, 2010 at 1:30pm at Mr. J. I was so proud of myself that I was clever enough to book 1 month ahead. Because I’m sure many fans will be eating at Mr. J when June 11-13 comes. So here comes June 9 and I was checking everything from Tickets to Reservations and I was strucked with an idea that I had the wrong booking. I don’t know what has gotten into me so I checked my reservation at Mr. J and guess what? I reserved the wrong date! It should be June 12, 2010 not June 11. Super tanga talaga, I immediately called Mr. J and luckily they still have a 2pm slot. xD tsk tsk… I lost confidence with myself so I was really depressed that whole day.

    Next Stop: Phantaci and Leftfoot
Okay, Phantaci is closed and Leftfoot is nowhere to be found. We spend almost an hour and soaked ourselves again in water just to find these places. Losers.

    Next Stop: Taipei 101
As the three of us (Julie, me and Terry) are off to the concert, we sent off our first timers to the station where they can find Taipei 101 and left them there. We headed back to the hotel to freshen up and prepare the banners.

    Hotel:
Had to take a shower and wear our Jay T-shirt while Terry prepared the light panels. Half an hour passed, I tested the light panels and the damn lights won’t work for the ‘Bin’ word. We were suppose to hold up ‘fei’ ‘lu’ ‘bin’… one each… but now it looks like we have to settle for zaizai’s covered “feilubin” which was bought by the ASOS 4 years ago. Anyway, I got frustrated so Julie did some quick thinking on how to connect the LEDs that were loosen while it was carried from Manila to Taipei. In the end, since I didn’t bring any soldering iron and lead, Julie asked for a wire. I was eyeing on the telephone wire, but Julie was quiet. So I didn’t bother to consider… but then I was getting so frustrated that I mentioned the damn telephone wire again. She still kept silent about my suggestion. Until I remembered I have a cheap earphones in my bag. I took it out and pulled out the phones… lo and behold we have a wire! When everything’s in place, we RACED to the MRT station and RACED again from MRT station to the Taipei Arena.

We arrived almost just in time, we still had time to take some pictures before the concert. =)

The concert started with the 360 degrees revolving animation which can be seen in youtube.

*Check us out at 0:11 onwards, you'll see a bright blue light at the left, that's our Feilubin banner...*

I won’t go into detail with what happened in the concert, all I can say it was a BLAST! I had to rewatch some clips from youtube to remember everything. All that I felt is that I was singing along with Jay, in his concert, with our banner up high… and spirits so high I didn’t remember what really happened in between those songs. *hahaha* I was really starstrucked. We were 5 meters away from the stage for crying out loud, when jielun keeps on waving at you, how would you feel???

    By yanaliao at 2010-06-21

The three of us were just sooo lucky to be there. Of course it won’t happen without a little help from my Taiwanese Jacky Cheung Fan friend, Sarah. I owe these seats to her. Without her extra fast broadband (not that fast but faster than mine), We wouldn’t even get a good seat!

    By yanaliao at 2010-06-21

Take note: Lower right 0:11 onwards…

Anyway the highlight of this concert was that Julie won our bet… Yes, congrats Julie-ah! Ikaw na tlaga… ikaw na… Then, achie sent me an SMS saying I guessed the first song right (Dragon Rider) . When Capricorn album came out, I was thinking Dragon Rider would make a good entrance song, I didn’t expect it to be overshadowed by a 4D animator, but I was thinking he would come into the stage like “In the Name of The Father”… sooooo kakkoiii!!! I was a bit disappointed on that but anyhoo, it was a good opening song choice.

*Check out the faint yellow lights on the lower right...*

    By yanaliao at 2010-06-21

Wo bu pei came up and here’s the video:
(Take note around 0:16 and 1:17 you’ll see yellow swaying banners beside a blue swaying banner as well, that’s the three of us)

I was also amazed by the Encore and series of songs, Jay chose the classic songs instead of those new songs that wouldn’t even fit in to the setlist. He had a good setlist this time, Kudos Jay! You didn’t let us down. Wala nga lang “Lan Ting Xu” but I didn’t even notice that until after the concert =)
Jian Dan Ai, Kai Bu Liao Kou, Long Juan Feng, Yi Fu Zhi Ming and the rest of the classics, it was sugoi,. Jay. Hountoni sugoii desu!

In the middle of the singing brouhaha though, of course Jielun had to talk a bit… so he went talking after the song “Free Promotional Videos” and before the song “Time Machine” which is my SONG for this entire concert.

He started greeting the Taipei Fans:
Jay: Taipei de peng you o….
    (the crowd cheers)
Jay goes to our opposite side and said:
Jay: Han Guo de peng you o…. (Korean friends…)
Then he started squinting and said:
Okay, qi ta de peng you, jiu kan bu dao ni men le, she ying shi ying gai hui pai ni men de o…
(Okay, for the others, I can’t see you that clearly so let the cameraman do his job, alright?)
Then he went to our side:
Ri Ben de peng you o… (Japanese Friends…)
Then he took a step forward, then squinted and slowly said:
    Aiyo…Fei… Lu… Bin de peng you o… (Philippine friends…)
(So the place was bright but I thought it went dark for a moment and all I can hear is three girls jumping and screaming and Jielun looking at us… It was synchronized, without any translation, my two companions, Terry and Julie knew we were about to be called and stood up right at that moment…. True enough Jay, music is still the best language…)

We were dumbfounded for seconds then I heard Jay said: “Okay, next song is “Shi Guang Ji” (Time Machine)” I thought he said some other song that I wasn’t familiar with. I kept thinking what Shi Guang Ji is, that’s when I realized tears were streaming down my face. I was singing to “Na tong nian de xi wang shi yi tai shi guang ji, wo ke yi yi lu kai xin dao ni dou bu huan ji, dai zou qing ting, chuan guo na shen lin…” Then I accidentally looked at the other two, we unconsciously wiped a tear from our right cheek, all at the same time. It was such a touching song for a touching moment. ‘Coz we need that Time Machine to rewind that very special moment when Jielun finally recognized us… His fans from the Philippines.

Backtrack: It was a long road traveled. I remembered when I watched my first Incomparable concert in July 1, 2005. We bumped into Ju Pao (Music Director of The One, Incomparable, 2007 World Tours and The Era Concert) and told him we’re from the Philippines, at the same time, we were talking to one of Jay’s dancers and she recognized us 2 years after. (You might recognize her ‘coz she was always focused in The Incomparable) In December 2007, the MSPs had an all out support to Jielun and watched a 2-night concert in HK. There, we called Jay’s attention at the Yellow Gate, we took our place at the very front of the railings where nobody will miss our banner w/ a Fei Lu Bin on it. Jay went directly inside his van, he looked like he was looking for something, but apparrently it looked like he’s just keeping himself busy in the car. We kept shouting Jielun Happy New year and Jielun Merry Xmas, with every shout, he kept waving at us then he will go back to what he’s looking for. Funny… The dancer also saw me and my sisters and waved at us. After so many years, she still remembered us.

Now in Taipei, it is our last chance to prove ourselves to Jielun. That even though we are few, we are faithful all the way. It was a dream come true to be mentioned to the whole stadium… Of course others will think it’s something ordinary but to us, it’s special. The nameless warriors have spoken their PRIDE… the banner which I insisted on doing even though there’s not much time, the banner which Julie insisted on fixing even though there’s not much time… We are the nameless warriors, and all those who were left behind in Manila, we brought them with us as we showed Jay our presence! We were so touched, we wanted to be remembered… even in just 1 concert. Coz we are Jay’s fans, and he’s a good inspiration to all of us. He is THE ONE, The Incomparable, The one who will not easily fall down…

Jay waved several times at us and I didn’t even bothered to count. After I heard that Shuang Jie Gun is coming up, I knew this is the end of what I was looking forward since January 2010. It was a good concert, I gave Jay a thumbs up sign~ We ended up eating MOS Burger and took a cab home.

After which, Terry went to our room and we both ate our Mr. Qute cakes over pictures. =)) Had a few jay spazzin' and ended the morning with Jay in our heads.

Had to wake up early in the morning and go to Taipei 101 with Terry. We missed the 101 trip yesterday ‘coz we have a concert to attend to… *naks* We took a 30-minute walk from Taipei Shi Zheng Fu station to New York New York then Taipei 101. Since it’s still early, we just took pics outside and went straight to Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park.

At the Park, we had to donate 200NTD to be able to go in, it’s all for charity baby so we gave in. Met up with Chinggu and Joli there and was really in front of the stage before Vanness came out. When he came up, we kept screaming Philippines and Mahal kita~ He was waving and smiling at us as well. We followed him until he reached his car. While following him, we kept shouting “Ching Ching… asan ka???” Coz we were afraid Ching would be left behind… mohahaha… Shy girl. Anyway, when Vanness rode his car and is about to leave, a fan stopped his car and said that someone wanted to take his picture. Vanness immediately got off the car and went to the guy in wheelchair. I heard an “awwww…” from the background. Later I found out that it was Terry who blurted the ‘aww…’ hahaha… Vanness posed and it took about several minutes after the photo-op was done, so while taking pictures, I sneaked in and joined the fiasco!

    So… TADAAAA…

It was so fabulous I really had a great morning. Vanness was sooo kind but I felt guilty sneaking into the picture. What the heck, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity anyways…

It was raining hard and we didn’t enjoy anything there. We’re suppose to walk the Old Street, go to the Fisherman’s Wharf and Tamkang University but we ended up at Oxford. The damn leaflet was misleading ‘coz it said that’s where the Secret was filmed. Damn tourist leaflets. I should’ve followed what the blogs said. Demmit.

Anyway the good thing was, I took some pictures with people in yellow raincoats looking like posing condoms. *rotfl*

Went back to Ximending to finish off my shopping spree.

Had dinner at Modern Toilet first... Yes the food is great, unique serving concept, but if you really try to imagine where you're eating from... uhh...oh so gross?!

Wrote a Happy Independence Day in a piece of 20-Peso Bill signed by us four who ate at the restaurant. This was inserted into the bathtub "table" and can be seen at the 3rd floor, left wing of the restaurant, first table to your left.

Had to go to Rose Music and buy “Down With Love” NTD 1200++ only. Then there’s Love Storm which I was really amazed that it only cost NTD99… SHIT! I won’t say no for this one! Hahaha… Then I went to Sophisca and bought every little pink thing, packaging and candy I can see there. Took pictures with DWL promotional pics as well… *lolz*

10:00pm, we have to back to the airport. I got 4 hand carries and 2 check in baggages. Arriving Manila, my Norwegian/Pinay officemate insisted that even though she’s holding a Norwegian passport, she’s still a Filipina so she’s allowed to fall in line at the Philippine Passport holders… well… in the end, she had to fall in line again~

It was a long day. My feet still soaked from the heavy rain, I wore my Ondoy-ed Jay-designed Nike PHANTACi shoes to Manila without any complaints. I should've bought a back-up...tsk tsk~ I felt so tired when I came home and didn’t even bother to take a shower.
