Its been a while since I've logged in.
Its scary seeing the giant number of "My feeds"

Just recently I went to watch the 10th World Wushu Championships in Toronto. It was amazing seeing such high level athletes compete. This would be my 2nd time in Toronto. The first time was a couple months before that to compete for the national wushu team. Too bad I didn't make the team

I also saw a couple of my wushu heroes! Hejingde and Zhaoqingjian! You have no idea how happy I was to get my picture with them

I wish I could have stayed longer.
But back to reality.....

Lately my life has evolved around work and wushu and its getting so repetitive! but...
2 More months until competition! I'm pretty excited yet scared at the same time. My sifu has pretty high expectations for us this year. I don't want to let him down.
I'm also scared of traveling to Vancouver with the wushu guys. Who wants gummy bears up their nose while trying to sleep?! I certainly don't -_-

So I found this on my fridge the other day...

I guess my parents were looking through old photos, and they wanted me to see this HAHAHA (yes thats me with a homemade ninja turtle costume for halloween). I even had a backpack that looked like a shell.

Lol. Ben's a slacker huh? Well he needs to work on a lot of things from what I remember. Problem with Wushu is it's so dependent on jumps right now. Personally I don't like competitions at all.

Training in China's actually pretty cheap. I was at the sports university in Beijing and they charged 10000 RMB a semester. 2008's gonna be very different though with the Olympics. If you decide to train in Beijing though I would recommend different places, lots of cheaper/better training facilities/coaching available.

Movie's done. It'll be shown on Spike TV sometime, spring or fall, pretty fast release. Two months for post production.

Oh. I met a few people from your school. Do you train with Ben? Or am I thinking of a different school?

And yea I was in China during Can Ams. Been there 9 months of out this year. 6 months training at the Beijing Sports University and 3 months shooting a movie in Hengdian. Good experience all around. Life changing.
