Unbelievingly, I have completed my semester yesterday and was wandering how to celebrate it as is not easy to go through this tough semester so it must have a good ending to pay off all the hard work. I have to thank Lord for giving me such a nice week especially yesterday and today.

As usual wake up in the morning, and hopped up to uni to do some of my stuff and surf the net then meet up Delena and the gang for dinner in the city to celebarate our end semester. Unfortunately, we have to get off from the train at South Kensington train station which is 2 stops away from the city coz there is fatality happen while we are on our way towards Flinders train station.

Then Berry have to pick us up from South Kensington train station coz the train is not moving at all for an hour and we have to sandwiched ourself in a small tiny little box (like the size of  MYyi) which 7 of us to the city with Berry's fantastic driving skills (sudden break) and foggy windows. It was so close that we nearly chase by a patrol car and after that we have arrived in Dessert House located in Chinatown. I'm like duh.... when David asked 'Hey why there is a lot of Chinese here? is Chinatown man what do you expect? yeah really have a great time tonight is like crapping jokes for four hours straight ( I can feel my cheek really hurts) so I would say that this is my most happiest and enjoyable time that I had in Melbourne so far.

    Nice sunset.

This is where the train station that we waited for Berry.

    Chinatown.

This is the sign of hungry people.

The cover menu states 'Pancake Dessert House' but they have fried noodles with shiffon egg sauce. So actually is it a dessert?

This is in my stomach now.

  • Hi Mel......

    Monday, Feb 25, 2008 8:30PM / Members only

I have no choice to update my blog after most of my friends asked the same question over and over again in a week (how is aus? how is the uni? how is the people and blah blah........... Finally i have save landed in the kangaroo's and the kaola's territory. I arrived one week earlier before my orientation starts and last week was my orientation which lasted for three days.

Mon...... the orientation was for the international student only. It was GREAT, no words to describe the word 'great' because you have to feel it by yourself and everything was well planned unlike my previous college (so bored and ridiculous). Received an orientation pack with lots of stuff in it like student diary, stationaries and even jellybean to keep us alert! Hah, they studied us so well. Then have cinnamon cupcakes and orange juice for breakfast and went back to the hall for Q and A section. They really fatten us with a large piece of tortilla wrapped with beef, blueberry muffin, granny smith apple and a box of orange juice for lunch. I don't think my past college will spend on that which they think it would increase their cost.

Tue......the enrolment day for the incomer. Actually the whole thing was only last for 15minutes like what the staff told us but that 15minutes had turned to 3 hours. This happens when they make us planned for our timetable and  a create student ID on the spot!. I have to studied like 13 hours per week! I wish i could still futher my studies in TAYLORS's which is more 'free'. (muahaha.......)

Wed.....the orientation day for the business and law student. Start of with some welcoming speech from the director of studies then followed by campus tour. WOW! the facilities here is fully equipped unlike my earlier campus. I just wind up my day by touring around the city with a friend. So here some pictures!

    Here is my masterpiece.

    The orientation stuff.

    Now I'm officially VU student.

    Blah blah....

    Hehe.....

    Me and Minhtu.

    Adios!

Right after that, I was busy with the ‘freedom’ celebration with my friends which we dream it for such a long time after get out from the hell. Then busy with preparation for Christmas. Yup Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! My blog was kind of late but nah… I don’t care! The Christmas was the most memorable one because I and my friends was cooking on that night for my family and let the pictures speak for it self!
