Been a very long time since I've posted. Anyway, so expo was pretty good this year. Definitely better than last year and I attribute it to the fact that this year I was with groups of people instead of wandering alone in the exhibit hall. I would have went to the panels or concerts or whatever if there was anything worth going to but there was nothing I deemed worth it.
I bought the 4 day pass but couldn't make it on Thursday since I had school all day. I had a test in one of my classes too :O Got an A on that, gyeaaah.
Left early in the morning to pick up some friends and we were off on the metro! Sota and I were the only ones who got badges. We got everyone else in by going in and out with the badge so everyone could get in. I bought lots of stuff :D
And got quite a few free things. Buahahaha. HI CHEWS! I love them. Still can't get enough of them.
But yeah, when we weren't wandering around in the exhibit hall, we were sessioning with people we just met :D
Dancing is one of the fastest ways to make friends at expo I've learned. Made some awesome new friends. Saturday I gots to hang out with Tommy, yaaay. Then Sarith popped up with t-shirts and and flyers to hand out. I finally got a EMC t-shirt :D
Annnnd, Tommy and I did very well when passing out the flyers. We're awesome 8)
I got to meet Nicole later on in a very cool cosplay costume. So cool that every other step she'd have to stop kuz people kept trying to get pictures of her. Needless to say our group never moved very far but it was fun.
Sunday not a lot of people went but I bought a lot of stuff that day. And my group hung out at the crunchyroll booth playing the demo of Ether Saga, which wasn't so bad. But I'm kinda picky on graphics, haha.

Ok, now for Sacramentooo. So this last Saturday was the day of Khmer Unity Games, where all the Cambodian clubs in the different schools in California meet up and get to know each other. Last year Fullterton held the event and this year was Sacramento's. Next year, Fresno will be holding it.
But yeah, I caught a ride with Malay on Friday morning. We picked up some other people and bought some food to eat before we were on our way. About 200 miles after, we blew a tire :(
Luckily we were near an exit and a gas station so we slowly drove there and called for a tow truck. Another piece of luck was that my dad gave me his Triple A roadside assistance card in case we needed as tow truck. There was 7 miles left on the card and we needed to go 9 miles. Our driver was very nice and didn't charge us for the two extra miles :)
We bought two new tires since we were already using Malay's spare tire. Sometime before, his tire got messed up and he switched to the spare, and that spare blew up while we were on our way to Sacramento, thus we had no spare. We bought two new tires because of this.
Eventually we get to Sacramento and to Malay's friend's apartment where we stayed. We was hungry so we eated some KFC, lol. Was really funny though kuz this old, trashy looking white lady and her son walked it and couldn't find the register. They walked right past it and the cashier was like, oO.
We were laughing. We laughed even harder kuz the lady tried to use a coupon that had expired in 2007. People are funny.
But yeah, we went back, ate, showered, and slept. Vuthy snores very loud so I woke up. I thought maybe it'd die down but an hour later it didn't and I just grabbed something and threw it at him, waking him up XD
Saturday, we went over to the park where KUG was being held. For some reason I had two name tags, haha. I ended up being Team Leader for the orange team and we decided after much debate to name our group Orange Chicken. All the groups chose food names for some reason, haha.
First activity was a scavenger hunt, where we won first place 8)
It was a lot of running though :(
Next we ate lunch, then went to play some weird game called Ultimate Pinball Dodgeball. Don't ask me how to play it kuz no one really understood how to play. There were so many cheaters and whatnot that most people just gave up. Some random guy I didn't know on an opposing team randomly started hating on me :(
He kept saying he was going to hit me with the dodge ball and that he hated the girl in yellow (I was the only person wearing a yellow shirt). It was weird but after the game, my friends decided that he was picking on me kuz he liked me. I was not appreciative of that at all. The guy even came over and invited us to an after party, to which we all declined.
Then there was a game of Steal the Bacon. My team won, of course. One of my team members was standing next to me and got tackled by two big guys, one was my team member with the "bacon" and the other guy was the opposing team chasing my teammate. It was all pretty funny.
So then we were all going to take a group picture when water balloons came raining down. It was an ambush! I got hit and ran over to the cooler where the guys had stored the water balloons and joined the battle. Some guy even tried to dump a bucket of water on me but I dodged last minute so only my hair got wet. Very fun though.
When we went back to the apartment, we all jumped into the pool. After everyone showered we went to eat pho :) Yummyyy.
We had to go back home on Sunday but it was ok. We were all tired anyway. No car problems on the way home :)

True Asian, haha.

We're in the back of the towing truck.

Tire damage.

My sister sleeping.

Malay gets the bed.

Malay is getting his hair did!

They said they ran out of breakfast! AT 9 IN THE MORNING! O_O

See those people on the hill? They ambushed us with water balloons.
