  • Taipei Day 1
     |  )

    Wednesday, May 20, 2009 1:05AM / Standard Entry

    Just came back from Taipei...
In fact, this is my first time stepping foot in Taiwan...
A trip for 4 days, and 3 nights...
I really haven't planned on where to go...
Although there is one spot that I'd really like to check out.....  LS Workshop!!

We haven't been in touch for a while.
I'd say it's been about 3 years since we've last met.
The only way for me to read up about her latest endeavours is through her blog...
I found the address to her store so I decided to test my luck on this trip...
    ...in search of her...
This little girl in my eyes....has grown up...and has matured...
As she left the showbiz behind, she decided to concentrate on her career in designing and on her cafe...
It makes me happy to see what you've accomplished today...
I wish you many happiness and success!!
I know there's alot of things we haven't been able to discuss.
This short gathering is, indeed, very brief...
Perhaps...we can continue our discussions upon your return to Hong Kong or my next trip to Taiwan!!

  • 512 Performance @ Wenzhou Earthquake 1st Anniversary Fund-raising Event In Zhongshan.
     |  )

    Wednesday, May 13, 2009 5:48AM / Standard Entry

    5/12 .. a very meaningful job...

It was my first time performing live on stage in an old Zhongshan village...
That night was the fund-raising event for the Wenzhou earthquake's first anniversary...
The audience all had generous hearts...
I am also very touched by their support!!!

Especially for those who have been catching up to the TV series "Central Affairs"...
I'd never imagine that my character "Siu Feng" would leave such a mark in the viewers' memories...
I will continue to try my best for the performance in Guangzhou tonight!!!

  • <Permanent Residence> 5.4 BBQ/Gathering Event for those who loved the film
     |  )

    Wednesday, May 6, 2009 4:49AM / Standard Entry

I've attended a movie gathering event for "Permanent Residence"
The event took place at the Artwalker office.

Close to 100 people attended the event...
    It's amazing!!!
The film studio even made preparations for food and drinks to be served at all times.

Special thanks goes out to Brother Simon for this BBQ evening.  It's all thanks to you!!

Besides the cast of "Permanent Residence" attending, director Wan-Cheong also came by!!
Everyone showed up to explain the film for fellow film lovers!!!

The male leading actor, Osman, was constantly busy for the entire night.  haha!

Even though I didn't participate in the making of this movie.
It was delightful to see the film to shared amongst the viewers out there.
It has given encouragement to us workers in the film industry and that is all because of your support!

    ~~ Jackie . Sean , Eva , Me and Osman ~~
I do wonder if director Wan-Cheong will organize a similar event
when "Amphetimine" (which I am featured in) shows up in the theatres!
    I'll be waiting for it!

  • A touch-wood blog entry
     |  )

    Tuesday, Apr 28, 2009 5:08AM / Standard Entry

I've read my friend's blog entry from a while ago.  He wrote something entitled "My funeral".
Don't worry...he's...alright...he's just writing his own thoughts!!
After reading this, I had suddenly thought of two films.
    "Funeral March" and "Happy Funeral".
I remember discussing with him about his blog entry that night.
He returned to me in question and asked how I think my funeral is going to be like.
Oops...I really never thought about that...
Perhaps, I must have lived a previous life full of sin.  Therefore, I continue to struggle in this lifetime!!
It's best that I don't think of death before reaching the age of 70.
However, this is an interesting topic.
What would I want for my funeral?
My answer would be "no superstitions".
None of this scripture-reciting monks, hell-breaking, 7th days, and evening of spiritual returns.  It's too scary!!
I really don't want to scare my friends and family after death.
It's best to just cremate me to ashes.
No need to leave my body to rot underground!!
    No need for any crysanthemums...
Just buy daffodils and sunflowers, people!
There's no need to burn any servants or mansions....
I just need my beloved photo with Andy Lau...haha...

This is a blog that requires me to knock on wood!
