• Feelings

  Last Friday, went back to my hometown with my cousin.  Nobody at home when I reached about 10.15p.m.  I spent my Sat & Sun at home with my parents & I feel the house really very quiet. One by one, all my sisters have ventured out frm my hometown, 3 of us in KL & my youngest sis is studying at Kampar now.

  I can feel that my house is very quiet, I feel my parents must feel the same too.  In the past, our voices fill up every corner of the house whether it's laughter or we are shouting at each other.  The house is full of our voices but now the house seems very quiet.  Suddenly i can feel that my mom & dad must be very lonely cause all of their children have moved out for their career or studies.  A very sad feeling clouded my head, i want to spend more time with my parents. Even though, both of them have their own activities & frens but some of the time they still will be alone at home, that's when I can feel their loneliness.  Mayb I'm thinking too much! 

  Nowadays I see most of my fren's parents moved down to KL to be with their children but deep down in my heart, I think the children are the ones should go back & visit their parents.  I can feel the excitement of my parents when they see their children coming back to visit them.  I can see my auntie & my neighbours envy my mom coz we always go back & visit them. 

  So I decided to go back whenever time permitted, at least once a month.  Mom & dad, I love you both!!

• Gotong-royong in orang asli village - Hulu Langat 080707

  080707 at 0615hrs, all of us about 40 odd gather at the AW office & start our journey to the orang asli settlement which is about 1 hour drive away at the outskirts of KL. It is located in the district of Hulu Langat.

  

  0745hrs, we reached the settlement & greeted by the headman.  Soon, more & more volunteers came.  The morning starts with a simple speech & briefing by the representative of LP107 & followed by the village headmen.

  

  Everyone is listening attentively to them, later 1 lorry & 1 4WD arrived carrying all the foodstuff that was sponsored by LP107.  So v link up a human chain to pass on the foodstuff from the vehicles to the "Balai Raya" - community service hall in the village.

  

  Before v start to do the cleaning, everyone have their breakfast 1st.  After the breakfast, everyone is divided into a few subgroups and they carry on with their responsibility in a designated area inside the village.  Soon everyone is out from the community hall.  Me & my 2 fren bring a woman with her sick child to a clinic.  She told us that she do not have the $$ to go to clinic by herself .  Her child really look very sick and for a 3 year old boy, he looks very small & tired. 

  

  By noon, everyone has finished the cleaning and gather again at the community service hall.  Everyone looks tired but satisfied that they have done something good for the community.  What I see is that they really need education on hygiene coz they simply throw rubbish everywhere.  One will find the whole village full of rubbish.  My other fren said they need eduation on sex & family planning.  They are going to teach them how to use condom etc.

  

  We break for lunch in a small field in the village and continue with games with the children.  The children really njoy themselves very much.  The program continues after the games but I left earlier with my fren coz we have other things to do later in the day.

  

  I feel very happy coz I spend almost 1 day with the Orang asli & get to know them better, making a difference to their life.  For me, living a life with a purpose is fulfilling and by doing this small activities, my life is more enriching with lots of experience.

• Wakin 20th Anniversary Concert in KL 140707

  Last Sat, I went to Wakin 20th Anniversary Concert in Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil,  It was his 20 years & 1 day in the industry... Tat's wat he told us...

  

  It was the longest concert I ever attended by an individual artist.  The concert lasted more than 4 hours.  I really enjoyed myself.... most of the songs are the songs that I grew up with.  TQ Wakin for the beautiful songs over the years.....  I went to his official website: www.wakin.com and saw a lot of ppl leave comments on his guestbook.  I was so touched to read their comments, everyone loved him so much!  He really have touched the hearts of so many ppl ard the world over the past 20 years. 

  All his songs are very meaningful... when you really understand the meaning of the lyrics... very touching.....

  

  Most of the people really come in family... father, mother, children.. you name it...how powerful is he, touching the lives of so many ppl. His songs are enjoyed by all levels of people......

• More & more sales coming in

  I'm so happy ..... after transfering to sales dept., after the hardwork of calling & prospecting for the past 2 mths... now i can see the sales slowly & surely coming in... Bravo 4 myself & 4 my colleague, Chong.  It's time to reap the rewards..but i won't slow down.. it'll keep me goin & goin further, keep on improving & moving on in my life.

  Life is actually about taking risks,  no risks means no gain.... just like an investment, the higher the risk, the higher is the returns...  however it's up to us to make the call... i mean take a calculated risk.  Don't u think so?

  I'm so happy that I took this move, after considering for so many years, still not moving....now that I finally took the initiative, I found out that I can actually handle & manage it. Nothing is so difficult, all the bigger achievements starts from something ( a base).  I really believe tat.  When I believe tat I can do it, then i can... This the Power Of the Mind.  Absolutely Powerful!!!
