【澳門】 ROCK INN搖滾音樂節2011

We're glad to be invited by "Ngai Chon", to host a booth in "ROCK INN Music Festival 2011" for selling our album 《At Land》. The event is FREE Entrance!!!

WhyOceans 有幸受澳門「藝駿中心」邀請，將於12月17日本週六晚在每年一度的「ROCK INN搖滾音樂節2011」開設攤位即場售賣專輯《At Land》和免費派發樂隊貼紙，活動免費入場，將有七支樂隊演出。請注意我們當晚並沒有演出，純粹在場開設攤檔，歡迎大家拿拿貼紙交流一下！

WhyOceans was formed in 2005, since the band has never stopped impressing crowds with their energetic and infectious live performances. The band strives to deliver both audio and visual pleasure to audiences. With chemical reaction by different musical interests, WhyOceans has been claimed to have created a unique style of their own. Their sounds compile with different elements from Alternative/Psychedelic/Post Rock/Soundtracks. The band has been participating in various music festivals and gigs happening in the Macau, Hong Kong and Mainland China.

WhyOcean's debut record 'At Land' is produced and published on July-2011 by Hong Kong indie record label Chopxticks Entertainments, which has presented the audience with gigs from today's famous bands, such as Mono, World's End Girlfriend from Japan and Ef from Sweden. Among the few indie record labels in Hong Kong, Chopxticks focuses on promoting post-rock music.

自2005年在澳門成立以來，WhyOceans便從沒間斷地向大眾展示他們那富有澎湃張力及感染力的現場演出。樂隊現時成員包括：Luis Carvalhais (吉他/主音)、Tommy Chu (吉他)、Jase Lam (貝斯)、Jackal Tam (鋼琴/鍵琴/合成器) 及 Leo Chan (鼓/敲擊)。
樂隊一直致力於帶給觀眾聽覺上及視覺上的震撼。建基於多種不同的音樂喜好上，樂隊成功為自己建立出獨一無二的音樂風格。其曲風大概包含著另類搖滾/迷幻搖滾/後搖滾/配樂等不同元素。
樂隊成立後，積極參與及活躍於各類型的音樂節及演出，足跡遍及澳門、香港及中國大陸。

WhyOceans 於2011年七月推出的首張專輯《At Land》，由曾邀請日本Mono、World's End Girlfriend、瑞典Ef等著名樂隊演出的香港廠牌Chopxticks Entertainments 製作及發行。Chopxticks Entertainments更是少數專門以後搖滾為主的香港獨立廠牌。

"Why" is the question of all questions; we are constantly looking for the answer. "Oceans" connect lands and places; we hope our music will work like the water, connecting people and bringing their hearts together.

「為甚麼」本來就是所有疑問的根源，我們亦依然一直在尋找答案。海洋連接著世界上所有的陸地，我們也希望WhyOceans的音樂能像海洋一樣，連結著大家彼此的心。。
