Announcement

Mike Moore: When Roosevelt came in ...(he) said to General Motors and Ford, you're not going to build cars anymore. You're going to build airplanes and tanks and guns and the things that we need for this war...

King: What do you want them to do now?

Moore: President-Elect Obama has to say to them, yes, we're going to use this money to save these jobs, but we're not going to build these gas-guzzling, unsafe vehicles any longer....

Moon Lady was partly inspired by a story my father told me -

when he was a young boy, he thought he heard the Moon Lady crying to him to save her from the coming of astronauts.

Great news Wendy.  So exciting for you to show it to a hometown crowd.  I hope this is the first of many film festivals for you, Wendy.  I wish I could be there in body but I will be in spirit.

I like the moon design and the feather duster puppets by your sister.

I love the image from 'Moon Lady' at the top, It's the second time I've seen this still, and each time, something new comes into mind. I love the story your father told you, beautiful thoughts.

Best Wishes for the film festival Wendy.
