• Asia Trip - Night 1

  7:30pm 1/19/2008
  -arrived at HKG
  -took Airport Express to Kowloon interchange
  
  9:30pm
  -checked into Nathan Hotel in Kowloon
  -relaxed, unpacked, changed into party outfits
  
  12:15am 1/20/2008
  -finally made it to CLIQ for Pat's birthday celebration (after asking concierge, MTR user, and MTR customer service agent how to find On Hing Terrace in LKF)
  -received special glow-in-the-dark wrist stamp, found Pat

  Recap:
  
  -Drinks cost about the same as back home in the Bay Area.
  -The bartender messed up our drinks - coke in the Goose and tonic in the Jack?!?  At least he hooked up the alkie first.
  -Music was great...but the many overhead speakers made it a little too loud for my ears.
  -If there are designated smoking rooms in Bay Area clubs, can there be the equivalent non-smoking rooms in HK clubs for those who want to breathe?

• Vacation Post in Hong Kong

  I'm in Hong Kong on vacation and shouldn't be spending my time updating blogs, but this entry is for PAT.  I hope he appreciates this!  I won't be able to upload pics from his birthday celebration at CLIQ until I get home so thanks for your patience.
