HAPPY MONDAY GUYS!! Well it's lunch time and it's blogging time! Oh man, i thought i'd be good and bring in lunch i made last night but i found out today that they've demolished 1 of the 2 kitchens in the building and we've no microwave! Arghhh! So much for my yummy chicken congee i made... *sob sob*. Oh wells, i've popped to Pret and got myself a tuna sarnie now. >__<
Hmm, i'm sure where ever i go i seem to witness a lot of disasters (and no, i don't cause them... or at least i don't think i do!). On the way home on friday i got off the tube station and headed towards my usual bus station. As i arrived i saw that the area had been totally sealed off and all travellers were being redirected to another stop. There had been a fatal accident and across the station i could see a bendy bus impaled to a bollard. How the heck did that happen?! Mind you, those bendy buses are frickin' scary things, lord knows how anyone could drive those beasts about in London's packed traffic?!
They're fun to ride when turning corners if you're standing on those spinning plates (where the bus connects)... however not fun at all if you're caught up in rush hour so everyone on the bus is tight and you have one feet on and one feet off the plate. Let's hope you can do the splits. ^__^
On July 11th an unexpected fire broke out a few doors down from my old office in Soho. It attracted a lot of media and of course, an audience. Yes, i was one of the millions that just stood there filming with my camera. Here are some pics.

Ooh i came across this the other day, a Stenciled Sun Robe designed by Yu-Chiao Wang.
I am a big fan of the sun and love the nice golden tan you get after a lazy bathing session, however i don't know if i'd actually want one of these. The patterns are so pretty though...hmm, maybe if the prints were smaller, haha...
Ooh I do heart Sanrio. What do you think to this? I think it'd look better in baby blue... imagine living in that? Boys? Hohoho...

Lately i've been thinking lots, eating lots, worrying lots and working lots. Woah, lots of LOTS! >__< Ok so this is my first week at my new office. I'm now out of my lovely trendy Soho pad and now into the classy Mayfair area just off Regent Street in London. Ooh the Vogue house is just next door and i can't stop oggling at all the beautiful people there, haha... Anyways, so yeah this location is a great place to shop but in terms of what do eat at lunch i'm actually quite buggered! Unless i bring in lunch i would have to opt for snazzy extortionate sarnies or pretentious petite salads, sigh... i'm based on the 5th floor and our kitchen is on the ground floor...shared by various companies in the building too, eek. Right now i'm sipping on my hot choc moccha hidden under copious amount of whipped cream and munching on a scrummy sicillian lemon cheese cake from Cafe Nero... yummm... so faaaaat... who cares.... i'll just cry later. ^__^
Ooh i've finally picked up my glasses yesterday morning on the way to work as it's been sitting in the postal depot the past week or so. I've been after some big goggles for a while now, and looking at my past glasses, they all seem to be growing bigger and bigger lense wise, haha! I heart them lots, i love anything geeky! I tell you one thing though, these lovely babies also double up as excellent eye shields! Woohoo!! Hey Alvin boy, i'm still on the hunt for your specs, haha... ^__^
These would be superb for all them science experiment classes i used to do back in them days, haha...
Oh the other day i was contacted by a freelance photographer who was looking for work, but shame we do everything in-house here as some of his work is actually pretty good. These are a few of his samples i'm likin' lots. I'll keep you tabbed, Chris Dodd. ^__^
I work with a lot digital photography and sometimes if we can't provide them ourselves due to the tight time schedules we're always on, i'd normally source them from stock sites. Here are a few which i've liked and have used.

I have been busying myself freelancing the past 2 months and i'm hoping to squeeze in some photography work soon. Things are slowly coming together now, thank god but i still need to work faster. A few things have been on my mind and i really hope that something will work out soon... I lost something good not long ago and i want it back. Give me my mojo!!
So I've been having a stressful time these recent months and my lovely dear friend Raul has been a little star and always knows how to cheer people up. Thanks sweetie for the cutie bunny pic! ^__^
He also got me a wonderful book for my birthday titled 'Let the right one in'. I am an avid horror fan so the choice was perfecto mundo! Mucho gracias mon amigo... ^__^ I have yet to see the film which has been sitting on my little HDD for the past 2 months or so, i hope you feel honoured that i've not given in and watched the film before the book! Haha... Ooh it's halloween season around the corner and i've been raping through all the films out there. I've a good few back logged too and they're great to keep you company whilst working through the night. Yes, i'm a weirdo. If only i had some horror buddies to watch them with. Why does no one like horrors?? Or at least, why don't i know anyone who would want to watch them with me? (And yes, you have to be in my country too!)
Ooh which reminds me, I know i hoard pics for donkies and don't put them up till the next decade, but here are 2 pics from earlier this year when Raul came over to London to play. Hope you're happy now luff... the rest will defo follow in suite shortly! Wahaha... ^__~

Rock isn't my main music but i love what rock can bring when it comes to THE look. I heart things that are quirky, edgy, makes a bold statement and above all, i adore things that oozes individuality. This is probably not for those shy morsels out there. Be it a simple flash of neon colour to your outfit or simply how a piece of garment is cut. I love it. Lots!
Karen O (lead vocalist of the band Yeah Yeah Yeahs) is such a fashion icon and i love her immaculate bowl cut do and her funky retro punky outfits. You rock girl!These are awesome pics. ^__^
