    It has been WAY too long since I gave some news.

    I have been lately busy with the making of my very first published book.

    DIALOGUE - 乒乓

    Along with me fellow photographer friends with have been conversing using pictures ... a couple of years later we invited 2 poet/writer/artist to join us in using some words on these conversation.

    It is finally done.  Thanks to LITTLE ODYSSEY EDITIONS.

    "Open your Eyes"

    A project aiming at interacting with People, offering them to close their eyes for a few seconds.

    A moment of calm, of peace, of vulnerability ...

    "Open your Eyes" is a series of Portraits with closed eyes, thinking about ones Dream / Goal in their life.

    The project started in Shenzhen but will probably go on for a while ...

    Woman or man.

    Since our birth we are bound to live (with) our gender.

     

    Still it is no news to say that we all have part of the other gender in us.

    Some decide to do something about it.

     

     

    Jin Xing

     

    A while ago I had a great chance to spend some time with Jin Xing – Dancer & Choreographer. Based in Shanghai with her troop, she is performing in Europe, Asia and soon will be back in New York with a new performance.

    Mandy Romero

     

    This meeting was linked to a previous work I did with Mandy Romero, gender artist based in Liverpool – UK.

    End of 2007 I spent almost 2 months documenting Mandy’s public performances. She had this trip prepared for years, with a strong knowledge in Chinese culture, she decided to travel mostly along the Pearl River Delta. Hkg, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, ZhuHai & Macao were the main stops.

    What about the Black and White pictures? Any particular reason for you to choose this form to tell the stories?
