I just watched episode 8 of the drama...You really have a knack for comedy...the scene where you arrive at the village...I had tears of laughter rolling down....very funny, well done, good acting.

Wow~ It all fit!  Good night.

Tonight while talking to God, I realized that I should say thank you to you. So, in this rather public forum, I say thank you~

Not sure how much of this story I can fit into an AnD comment section, but here I go~  

Awhile ago, I remember you writing/blogging and tweeting about “GBS”.  I had no idea what it meant at first, but through expert deductive skills… I figured out (much later) that it was a bible study.

And then a series of events took place.  1. I went to help out with something for Isogen/Daniel.  There I met a girl named Becky.  Not sure how we got on the topic, but she spoke glowingly of GBS.  She said I should check it out.  Because I was talking to this friend and that friend, I put it towards the back of my mind. 2. Time goes by… a month or two? I was hanging out with my friend Dawen.  He’s part of a movie club I’m in.  And for some reason, we got to talking about GBS.  I don’t remember how/why.  He told me I should check it out… 3. And I guess this is the weirder part, Jaeson and I started following each other on twitter.  He thought I was a friend of yours because I had retweeted you tweeting his LOVE information (did that make sense?).  I told him we weren’t friends… and that I read your blog/tweets.  :)  So, I think a few days after we started following each other on twitter, I saw him at a birthday party held for a GBS person.  I was there for another party.  I said hi, introduced myself, and that’s when he asked me if I was your friend… and I told him about following your blog (repetitive… oops).  He then said something about whether it was “God or odd” that we would meet. (sidenote: I think about that statement a lot… “God or odd” and why things happen). Then he told me about GBS too~ and that I should visit.

To give a quick background, I grew up in the church.  Went from when I was age 4 until end of high school.  And then I turned my back on the church.  I was filled with teen angst… and was rolling my eyes at the hypocrisy of it all.  I didn’t return to church until after college while living in NYC.  Redeemer with Tim Keller helped bring me back to God.  And I guess… really, I turned my back on the church and the people in the church.  I hadn’t turned my back on God.  And through these years, I’ve struggled with darkness, my own human failings… and overall just being a little troll.  I’ve been asked to bible study SOO many times.  Two were even held at the apartments I lived.  I’ve gone a few times here and there.  But I never felt that connected.  

So, about a month or so after talking to Jaeson, I asked my friend Dawen to take me along to GBS.  Not only did I know Dawen, but a couple of other friends walked through the door. It was such a nice surprise~ The style of the group and the people themselves make it a great learning experience.  The people are really amazing.  And I like the structure around learning more about God’s word.  Delving deeper into the bible… something I haven’t been able to do myself because I flounder about so much.  So, I thank you for my strange journey to GBS and the lovely people that are members.

You might be wondering WHY this… thank you.  I think I’ve been urged through a recent event with someone’s blog that I followed.  I followed her.  Something happened. And now I can’t let her know that her ramblings brought me little bits of joy into my currently mellow/slightly boring days.

I like your blog.  Your world is so different.  You let me see a glimpse of your life.  The pictures and the little anecdotes of your day are all very interesting.  And your PASSION for your work… it is great.  You work tirelessly and with so much energy.   I also like reading about your love for God.  It is inspiring.  

I like to think you do all this out of love for God.  I hope these things (blogging, singing, acting, etc) you do that brings enjoyment to others… also brings you happiness as well.

I’m not sure where my road will lead me.  Whether or not I’ll keep going to GBS… or find another bible study group… or none at all.  My life’s little mysteries tend to unfold little by little by themselves.

Just thought I’d send a small thank you your way.  

Oh!  And I’ve enjoyed watching you in Autumn’s Concerto.  I think I’ve been reading you for about a year.  And up until now, you’ve been a picture with words but without a voice.  Now you speak and move around!  :)

I hope this made sense.  It’s WAAAAAAAY past my bedtime.  I am now delirious.
