    Just wondering....

If you're feeling gloomy.... or experiencing troubled times....

What song makes you wanna cry?

What song makes you feel as if those lyrics were being directed to you?

What song captures all your emotions and feelings?

What is your favourite sad song?

Basically I would like to pay tribute to the list of songs that I have turn to for comfort, empathy and the need to have a good cry. So get your tissues to hand...

    1) Journey - Open Arms

    2) Sarah Mclachlan - Angel

    3) Sarah Mclachlan - I Will Remember You

I also have several other songs by Sarah Mclachlan that can easily evoke emotions from me. Her amazing vocal really captured my heart and the lyric really hits me right in the soul.

    4) The Pretenders - I'll Stand By You

    5) Rockwell - Knife

    6) Bette Midler - The Rose

    7) Sinead O'conner - Nothing Compares To You

    8) The Cranberries - When You're Gone

    9) Eric Carmen - All By Myself

    10) R.E.M - Everybody hurts

    11) The Carpenters - Solitaire

    12) The Carpenters - Yesterday Once More

I absolutely love The Carpenters. They never fail to put me in melancholy mood.

That's all I can remember right now....

    Pls share with me yours....

  • Song of the day » Howie Day » Collide

    The dawn is breaking
    A light shining through
    You're barely waking
And I'm tangled up in you
    Yeah

    I'm open, you're closed
    Where I follow, you'll go
    I worry I won't see your face
    Light up again

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
Out of the doubt that fills my mind

    I somehow find
    You and I collide

    I'm quiet you know
    You make a frist impression
I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the stars refuse to shine
Out of the back you fall in time
    I somehow find
    You and I collide

Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to ryhme
Out of the doubt that fills your mind
    You finally find
    You and I collide

    You finally find
    You and I collide
    You finally find
    You and I collide

I'm so so so in luv with this song!

I know this song is about a relationship between two people that care for each other very much but can’t get their timing right and collide....... In fact, I feel it could relate to some other aspects of life too.

How it's always too late when you realise you should have done things differently.

How it’s always too late when you realise you should have cherished the moment.

How it’s always too late when you realise you should have made the first move.

How it always too late when you realise you should have taken the risk.

How it always too late when you realise you should not have taken things for granted.

How it always too late when you realise the one you lost is the best you ever had.

I realised it’s always too late when you realise you are ready for something. Not many have the chance to collide again and catch up.

    One of my favourite quotes

“To live fully is to let go and die with each passing moment, and to be reborn in each new one.”

    Jack Kornfield

  • Random thoughts

    Tuesday, Aug 5, 2008 1:00AM / Standard Entry

    tho things are unsaid,

    one misunderstanding,

    words are misinterpreted,

    one misplaced faith,

    thoughts are mixed up,

    one nasty dispute,

    frustration sets in,

    several bombs,

    several explosions,

    broken bridges,

    shattered friendships,

it's too late now, to resist change,

    people change,

every single thing is in a state of change,

    nothing stays constant but change,

change for the good or bad,

    doesn’t matter anymore,

    what matters most,

losing the familiar feeling we once had,

losing the love we once shared,

it's not the end but a new beginning,

    expect without you in it.

"Change is hard because people overestimate the value of what they have—and underestimate the value of what they may gain by giving that up."

    — James Belasco and Ralph Stayer
    Flight of the Buffalo (1994)

The chorus is quite euphoric!! It's so catchy and I luv the whistling part!

    This song makes me happy.
