Well-known American Reverend Billy Graham
after 911, his daughter
was invited by an American television station
to appear on a morning show.
The host of the show cut straight to the point and asked:
“Why did God let this kind of disaster happen?”
She used the wisdom of God and explained her views on the subject:
“I deeply believe that God feels the same as us,
and is extremely heartbroken about what happened.
But over the past few years, Americans
have taken away the teachings of God from schools,
they’ve kicked it out of the Government,
and he’s ticking away out of our lives.
As a mannered person, I believe that God has only quietly
and helplessly appeared in our lives.
In the beginning it was us who told God to go away,
so why are we asking where has he gone now?
What gives us the right to ask God,
why didn’t he protect American people?
Why don’t we ask America
how have moral developments been over the past few years, eh?
One year, someone suggested that praying was not allowed in schools,
because schools should be neutral towards religion,
and schools had no right to ask students to pray.
And we said: “No problem!”
One month, someone thought teaching people
“not to kill others, not to steal, and to love their neighbor”
the teachings from the Bible, why don’t we take it away from the teachings in school.
We all said: “No problem!”
One day, someone said:
“A child’s self-esteem is very weak,
we shouldn’t use corporal punishment on them.”
(The son of the person who said these words ended up committing suicide.)
And we said: “No problem!”
At some point in time, someone said:
“Times have changed. Teachers and principals shouldn’t punish students,
students are under a lot of pressure.”
Because they didn’t want to anger their parents and attract media attention,
schools did not dare to punish their students.
So we said: “No problem!”
And then someone else said: “Children have human rights as well,
they have the right to undergo an operation for abortion,
and they don’t have to tell their parents.”
We said: “No problem!”
He said: “Rather than dodging or avoiding the issue,
why don’t we take the initiative and teach children how to use condoms.
Besides, children are curious anyway,
sex before marriage really isn’t such a big deal!”
We said: “No problem!”
Someone said: “Life at work and your personal life should be separate,
and only the president can make the economy better……
why do we have to care about other people’s livelihoods?
Everyone has their own privacy!”
We said: “No problem!”
Someone said: “Browsing pornographic websites is freedom of searching information,
so what if it’s a website with child pornography?
This is my personal freedom of speech, what’s it got to do with you?”
We said: “No problem!”
Someone said: “People these days should be open minded with their thoughts,
sex on television and in movies, violence,
is just a reflection of society today.
And the things about drugs, rape, murder, and lyrics from the devil,
is also just a way to relax and relieve the stress……
why make such a big fuss out of it? Just do what you want to do, right!”
And we said: “No problem!”
Adults have agreed to the things mentioned above for society
And after establishing all these “rules of society”,
we continuously ask:
why do the children today have no intuitive knowledge?
Why do children pick up a gun and kill people?
Why are 13 year-old children becoming parents already?
Why did the 911 disaster have to happen?
God couldn’t help but reply and said: “Dear children!
It was you who didn’t allow me to enter ‘your lives’.
If you think about it more carefully,
it won’t be hard to discover that all of this was created by us, ourselves,
we are personally experiencing the results of what we planted.”
The interesting thing is that humans abandoned God,
yet still ask why God has let the entire world
walk towards the doors of hell.
The interesting thing is,
we believe the stories that are written in newspapers,
yet we question the words that are written in the Bibile.
The interesting thing is,
you can circulate a funny joke through sending emails,
and it gets circulated very quickly,
but when you send out information that is related to God,
people hesitate.
The interesting thing is,
indecent images and pornographic articles are being posted freely all over the internet;
but at school or in a working environment,
public discussions about God are suppressed.
What are you thinking about right now?
The interesting thing is,
when you forward this email,
you won’t send it to a lot of people,
because you don’t know how other people will think of you when you do.
The interesting thing is,
you care more about how people look at you
rather than how God sees you.
If you think that this is quite interesting,
forward this email to other people,
otherwise, just delete this message!
No one will know,
but if you throw away this process of thought,
then don’t complain about why the world is how it is today.
“Give thanks to the Lord,
for he is good,
his love endures forever”
(Chronicles 16:34)
