these pictures were taken over two weeks ago when our city went berserk. The king of Buganda, Ronal Muwenda Mutebi, the figure head of one the largest tribes in the country had a spat with the President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni which resulted in clashes between the kingsmen and the army. There were full scale rios on the street and my literature lecturers at the university was forced to sing a ditty about the king or risk being stoned to death. it was chaos and in themiddle of it all i was recording events to make sure that you all know what is going on and not just the white washed official version of events.

I am a fan of cinema in general and chinese cinema especially the Wu shu period pieces such as HERO, House of Flying Daggers, Kung Fu Hustle. I spend my time writing rhymes and creating soundtracks to life in this crazy beautiful place. I develop content for the internet with WizArts Media,a production company situated in Ntinda, Kampala, Uganda and organise the ZUKA Students Film Festival.
I graduated from University with a BA in Mass Communication specialising in broadcast media.
I have lived in Cape Town South Africa as well as Gaborone, Mochudi and Francis town , Botswana.
I am a fan of Jean Baudrillard whose writings i recently discovered by accident after reading his obituary. I have a thing for Philosophy and have read some Confuscius and Tao of Li Tzu in my time.
I am also into Manga, especially Naruto, Ghost in a Shell, Ninja Scrolls and i mean no disrespect to Chinese cinema that gave us the Great Bruce Lee, but i think the 7 Samurai was ahead of its time.
I am looking forward to meeting you all and learning some Chinese you never know some of you might bump into me on the streets of Beijing next year.
