So its not exactly Sex and the City and its not exactly CitySeen - but here we go, Tinnie is starting her first blog!
Why? I got inspired by Jae Chong. We met up last night and he mentioned that he has one, and there, he can speak on the issues that he finds annoying and the people who listen are like minded. And face it, we have history together. Whether its Tinnie in Hong Kong, Tinnie in L.A., Tinnie in New York, its CNN, SCMP, MTV Chi or MTV China - however you know of me, its just me and you.

    HK for a weekend
Realised how IN LOVE I am with Hong Kong. Not only can people understand what I am saying, I can get to wherever I need to be in a quick amount of time and I can eat like a pig. I love food, and it always has more of an euphoric effect than shopping. I hate shopping, I go into H&M, and like one of those sped up clips, I am running around in double time, with an annoying soundtrack, just throwing things into my basket, and because I hate lining up, I don't try anything on, and I just pay and leave. NUTS. But for the most part, I only have remorse of a couple of bad choices... not unlike my relationship strategy, actually.

And of course as soon as you get back into China, you see the amazing airport (which looks like a carbon copy of HK Airport) and you think, ok, its not going to be too bad coming here... I walk through, and stare in a amazement at the giant Olympics check in counter and then to my laughter, see the free to use computer sitting there with a "Under Repair" caution page on the front. I laugh and go to use the washroom, and apparently women in China have a problem with flushing/peeing on the seat. I wonder if they are foreigners or locals that do this. It can't be the work of a Hong Konger!! As we walk out, this guy sticks his tongue out, which has a gob of greenish gray spit on it, as he does some cool maneuvering and then swallows it whole! ICK! Only in China. Welcome Back to China. China is so not cool.
