Just a quick and short blog entry and telling y'all that I've uploaded pics from last week's Asia Game Show. I didn't get to play too many games while I was there. Only managed to try out the Loco Roco sequel and Gran Turismo 5 - Prologue. I knocked my head from that metal bar while I was trying to get up. These organizers shoulda put the driver seat on a high level chair instead of just putting it on the ground. Really hard to get up from it.
I'm back. I'm tired.
I got a bit of rest and gonna need a little more slumber. Now I need to sell my inventory to make my money back. I spent it all on purpose but for some reason, my mother doesn't understand. She turned into a nervous freak show when i told her.
Yeah..So I though this was weird when it happened. I almost thought there was a protest outside the Shatin area. Anyway, it's 7am in Hong Kong and I've got about 4-5 hours before I head to the airport so I'll most likely scoot over for airport and do my final stuff before I leave the country or forever hold my peace or something like that. Ta-ta~!
Well, it's 10pm right now and I have to get packing before I get back to home sweet home. I've even heard the snow has melted down and the weather is now warmer. Oddly enough, it was raining at the same time in Hong Kong as well. Also had to make some last minute shopping before heading back to Toronto and went to the Asian Game Show in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wanchai. It was alright but it only seemed that Sony was the only big supporter in the convention. Nintendo and Xbox360 were ...Read more
I hear it's getting warmer in toronto now.
it's 1 degrees celsius...
Wow! 2 more days until Christmas, 2 more days until I leave Hong Kong and make my return back to Toronto. Sure, the weather down there has been nothing but crap. But it's still home sweet hellhole. I can't really say that I'm going to miss Hong Kong because I know that in matter of 1-2 years, I'll be back. No need to get all teary-eyed because as God as my witness, I'll be back!
Speaking of which, gotta get packin' on Monday. Hopefully, I'll get to do some last minute shopping before I leave. I wanna...Read more
Just came back from the theatre tonight and watched Nicholas Cage's new movie "National Treasure: Book of Secrets". While I must admit, it's not a bad movie but somehow, it just felt exactly the same as the first one. Even some of the lines sound so familiar. It's like another run of deja vu. How odd...
Just came back from Times Square after a lunch with Will (MADEinHK) and his partner at Oceanna. Then, I decided to catch a new flick in the theatre.
I was picking between National Treasure 2, Bee Movie and etc. Ended up watching director Pang Ho-Cheong's "Trivial Matters", an omnibus sex comedy starring a lot of people including AnD's Conroy Chan. I haven't seen Director Pang's earlier flick "Exodus" yet but I will watch it on DVD once I return to Toronto. Some segments made little sense at all ...Read more
Just saw this movie today and it wasn't as bad as I expected.
Story is very straight-forward and I managed to stay awake throughout the movie.
I still liked "The Warlords" better, though.
Andy Lau once said in a song that toilets are our heroes.
The late, great James Wong once stated that he wrote some of the most unforgettable lyrics in a toilet. Yes, even the lyrics for "The Bund" theme song. (You know what i'm talking about. 浪奔﹗浪流﹗萬里濤濤江水永不休!) It's funny because the song has lyrics that involves rivers and waters that's never stopping itself from flowing. Leslie Cheung even wrote music when he was taking a dump in the can.
So now the question is, why is that people find themselves ...Read more
