Okay, I'm going to admit. I download TVB dramas on an occasional basis. Before you torch me and have my head on a plate, let me explain my perspective here. Here in Toronto, there are legal means to obtain TVB dramas. In fact, it took 'em a while to finally switch from VHS to DVD. However, what most overseas TVB viewers do not know is the fact that newer drama shows are now presented in a 16:9 HDTV format. I, for one, do not like it when a presentation gets pan-and-scanned for a 4:3 fullscreen display (which, by the way, is the only available version to obtain in Toronto). Even in Singapore and Malaysia, where TVB is aired there through AstroTV, presents TVB dramas in a non-HD 4:3 format. Therefore, I will only download from a HD tv rip source. Since I'm in the subway for most of the time at work, I have the time to watch a significant amount of shows through my PSP. Granted, it won't have the full HD treatment. But it's still presented in its widescreen aspect ratio. I even spend the time to convert these files into an MP4 format so I can view 'em on my PSP. That's right. I don't really use my PSP for gaming anymore. Well, maybe just a little bit.
So this morning as I was loading new episodes into my PSP, I accidentally deleted some episodes that I had just converted and dumped into my MS Duo card. Therefore, all I had was the latest episode of a currently airing series called "The Four". Now I have to re-convert those episodes all over again. Good thing it doesn't really take a lot of time to convert these files. So it shouldn't be such a big deal.
