After working throughout the week (so far), I decided to take the day off for a legitimate reason.  I had to take an eye examination at the optometrist's office.  Every year, I have to take that eye exam and drop that stuff in my eye, causing my pupils to be dilated.  The black part of my pupils expand for a few hours and I would walk out with anime-like eyes.  During this time, my vision is blurred for a few hours.  In fact, my eyes are still affected by the eye drop as I am typing this right now.  So my depth perception is pretty wack as of this moment.  I was gonna drop by Pacific Mall but then decided to simply head home instead.  Feeling kinda woozy from the eye drop.  It's like I'm stoned, yet I am not.  Anyway, it's back to work tomorrow and thank god tomorrow will be Friday!!!

haha...my optometrist kept pushing me to pay that $60 bucks for the octomap.  i didn't want to pay for it right away so i delayed the retina scan for 2 weeks.

I had the same problem the first time I got my eyes dilated a couple of years back but the funny thing was last year when I got them dilated again during the eye exam, I had no side effects whatsoever.  No anime eyes, no blurriness, no extreme sensitivity to light.  The first time was bad because after I got them dilated, my vision was blurred for up to 4 hours but after the 2nd hour, I still went out for a jog and I couldn't even see cars coming when I was jogging across the street, I was depending on my hearing for that *-*

I dislike having my eyes dilated. Some opt offices have the Optomap machine which looks into your pupils and takes digital images. No dilation! Costs more but sometimes I think it's better than the hours of discomfort of dilation.
