How did you spend your Valentines?
Mine was filled with love, surprises, and grief.
Valentines is one of my favorite yearly celebrations since grade school! When
mum was still around, we used to celebrate Valentines together with all the
balloons, flowers and the pièce de résistance: chocolate! When she left, a
couple of my single friends and I decided to have our annual reunion on the very
day and we have become attached to the hip for three years now!
Even thou February started with a close friend leaving my life, many also
have returned. Including some high school and college friends. This month has been filled
with reunions pre and post V-day! Until now, I am still recovering from my
Valentines Hangover!

I had already met my bestie's girlfriend, Joan in the past but we had dinner for the first time together a couple of nights ago.
She is the sweetest thing ever. I love her!

Post-Valentines Dinner with Ninang Chayo!
My grandmother's 40th day death anniversary was last Friday. The family heard mass at Lola’s grave and had dinner after.

My grandmother died on her husband's/grandpa's birthday.

I am saddened to say that Fr. Calvin Poulin, our school chaplain and "father" of
the Chapel Aides Family passed away last Sunday night. Ate Ana and I were having dinner when
we got the text message saying that Fr. Cal had died and we immediately rushed to the hospital. The burial will be this coming
Thursday at eight in the morning in Manresa.

“We know that you are already in a better place Fr. Cal, Rest in peace. We
love you.”
I hope you had a marvelous Valentines!
Please continue sharing the Love
throughout February! xxx
