Twilight Saga

again, Twilight~ I'm definitely crazy cos I've been searching up & down for the 4 series of Twilight saga ever since watching the movie. & despite my efforts, I DID NOT manage to find it. Major bookstores out of stock & would be coming in only end of e mth. Of cos, due to my stubbornness, I'm not able to wait tt long~! Thus, I bought the traditional chinese version, although to date only 2 series (Twilight & New Moon) had been translated. The 3rd one, Eclipse, will only be out on 4th of Feb. Which is another problem~ Bcos after I finally managed to reserve the 1st two series in kinokuniya and got it two days ago, I finished the 1st one already!! Yes, I'm crazy~ 400+ pages! The book had never gotten out of my sight since then. In office, on public transports, out shopping & dinner~ Lost sleep too~ Cos I slept at about 5am during the weekend & got up at 11plus just to finish it~ it's not a matter of finishing actually... i wasn't able to stop~!!! It's so excruciatingly difficult to just pause. & now, I fell in love with a song~ Flightless bird, american mouth by Iron & Wine.
So, I think the second one is not going to last till the third one comes out~ Hell, how am I going to spend those waiting time? Hate waiting.... but too bad.... it's the only choice~

Twilight

E nicest movie I've watched in 2009 to date. Of cos, as it's only a few days since 2009. Anyway, heard some reviews about it, especially when the novel had totally mesmerised book fans. Although some thought e movie was a little hastily made, and missing quite alot of scenes from novels, but what do you expect? Movies made from novels are always like this. Short, simple and to the point. However, you can say tt this is e best vampire/dracula movie I've ever watched. Other than other movies which basically shows all e sucking stories here and there, Twilight has a little more to the emotional side. Which I like it anyway. The male lead plays well with the thick white powder on his face and the bright brown vampire eyes. Story is although short but well, understandable. Although whole movie was without subtitles but yep, it's not difficult at all to understand their accent. Overall rating 4 popcorns~ hoping there would be a next one. & i've decided.. to get the Twilight series books~ cos I can't seem to get enough from the movies =)

Gatherings

28th, had one of the [S] Gatherings again. It's been awhile, since all of us are practically working our ass off. Hang-outs with e [S] ladies had always been incredibly fun. Cracking laughters, never-ending talks and lame jokes and den we all ended up tired and our cheeks numb from all those laughs. Had dinner @ Shokudo, sort of a Japanese Marketplace. Creativity in the ordering lines and food was nice. Gifts xchange and well, got what I think suits me best. Eye patch, exfoliating cream and spray mist. Sure gotta do alot of stuffs to my face lately due to the constant hot and cold & stressingly hectic schedule. Thanks girls~!

New Yr Eve's celebration was okie though. Hot and even hotter~ Fireworks aren't tt great as expected, but still gotta see it after a yr~ Pictures taken but duh~ I don't like any of it seriously, especially when you're all sweaty from the walkings and tired from the squeezing through. EeeWw! Anyway, holidays seasons are almost over, except for the upcoming lunar new year. Yep, a festive I love and hate at the same time as mentioned before. Even before it's coming near, I've decided to stay away, at least not in SG during the season. Just a sudden instinct you might want to call it. It could be fun though~ we'll see..

what's up 2009?

amazingly, i don't feel a thing right now. a little numb, maybe from the fall i've had two nights ago~ where i got out of bed too fast to go to the loos & hence, fell right on my butt. still trying not to be too hasty when getting out of bed. it's one stupid thing i never learn since e stitch i had on my chin. anyway, two more days & it's a whole new yr again. so e horoscope thing had been saying smooth for me. after May things would be getting even better. hopefully though~ kind of like a rock and roll these days when nothing seems predictable & everything seems so insecure lately. new yr resolutions~~~ okie, i don't normally wish dem but here goes:

1.) get e stupid piece of card which allows me to control a vehicle & also e vehicle itself

2.) more & more roll-ins of digits (who wouldn't want tt?)

3.) chance of gg global nxt yr

4.) recessions to flush themselves down e big hole

5.) healthier & happier me & for those i love

well, it's typical isn't it? anyway, if i were to put it simpler. can i just make one wish to have everything tt i'd ever wanted & mayb these wishes would happen right after i wished for it?

Holiday Seasons!

Back from Bintan trip during the short weekend getaway. Actually, wasn't tt short though~ But still, it wasn't enough. Of cos~ nobody feels anything is enuff when they get to take a break from the so hectic life and flying off to some serene area with greenery surroundings and beachy winds and tides. Sad to realise, it's actually monsoon season n we aren't allow to do any water sports. So, here goes my banana boat, jet-ski and snorkeling. Ok, disappointed but still not tt much to spoil my holiday mood. U won't feel disappointed nor sad for long at a place like tt one. Spa was good, food was damn good and sea was soooo great!! Being splashed and turned over by the high tide is one excitement you'll never haf in SG. Ya, you should noe why... the tides here are so weak you can't even feel it even when you are up to waist level in the seas. But just to knee level, oh~ not even there, you can feel tsunami~ waha, you tink i'm exaggerating? Feel it when you're there! Tons of photos will be uploaded soon.. when i haf e time~

Yep, back from holidays aren't really a good feel. Facing the hectic reality bouncing back isn't that great either. But, what the hell~~ it's holiday seasons.. worldwide and yes, you can't be too numb to feel it when there's x'mas trees and lighting everywhere. But hell, where's the snow?? tt's sth rather down sliding my season mood. X'mas without snow is nt really an x'mas. Lucky for the trees and lighting tt we SGs are still able to feel a little something tingling~~ and.. where's santa?? The red beard big guy who carries a damn heavy sock over his shoulder giving out prezzies.. where is he...? Ok, i'm getting a little crazy here..

Anyway, another month to lunar new year. A festive season I love and hate at the same time. The reason? Tell ya when I'm not too lazy to typewrite it all out... Holidays are here~~ Economy recession, market crisis just gotta hide themselves away for awhile. Till we enjoy e holidays then you can pounce back on us, but ouch~! Not so hard~ I don't wanna feel it yet.
