sorry I have been a bit MIA. stuff IRL has been going crazy !!

my friend recently came over and took pictures of me for her uni project~ it involved my morning routine LOL

some of the pics turned out quite funny... oh its over a few seperate mornings!

1. my real name is tianran bai... yes... thats whats on my passport. in chinese its 白天然, meaning pure/natural. add to it that my last name means white, its really rather poetic! in english it just sounds crap however =(

2. i work in advertising/media... my dream is to go work in china! but i need to improve my chinese...

was a bit crazy... I even cooked! but my camera broke down :(

found this old ass picture of me...

don't even know who took it... can't remember the last time I wore that top!

ATA went broke so my flight from Hawaii to Vegas in June needs to get rebooked. however it does open up options to me... it costs almost the same to fly back to China!

Beijing..Shanghai...sounds tempting!

我回国有人陪我玩儿吗? =P

圣火来了 ~ the torch passed through canberra today...

read about it on the news. got asked to go along to protect the flame but unfortunately i work so couldn't go.

i'm glad everything went safely (only 7 arrests! =P)

i feel really mixed up about this issue. on one hand i support free speech and people's right to protest, but of course i understand it from the student's view and their love for China and the wish to protect the flame on its way to Beijing (which is by the way the city I was born!)

i especially understand the sentiment that many people who protest dont really understand the issues and are just doing what is PC which in australia unfortunately at the moment is not so pro-China.

the issues are probably way to complex for many of us to fully comprehend.

just glad nobody was badly hurt :)

我对这些事蛮复杂的感觉... 不过当然希望圣火可以安全到达北京(我的出生之地！)。

weekend, no sleep

I ate so much! all my resolutions of loosing weight went out the window as soon as I saw my delicious chicken and mushroom pancake, yummm!

but glad to see so many people shared my weekend. work makes it so impossible to catch up during the week, so weekend is so important!

also broke my self imposed clubbing ban. didn't think that one was going to last anyway =P but I felt so old and not dressed up... are shiny clothes now back in?? i am out of touch with fashion.

很高兴可以见到那么多朋友。工作以后难得有机会，周末变得好重要。上班族酷

开始... 感觉好"grown up"... 现在不可以和她们比了, 怎么都穿的那么性感！
