sheridan headlines at 102.1 the edge.

three teams of 10 or so illustrators from my graduating show hit up muchmusic, the edge and nathan phillips square to jam on a panel as a promotion for the sheridan headlines show. we got a warm reception at 102, despite the cold cold weather.

promo time!

things are looking up as i got my postcards today. thanks to my pops who brought them to oakville. i got them done at overnightprints.com and they're not bad, save for some colour shifts. they feel great though- and in my hands, i smell... the real world.

i have been preparing 'loot bags' for the grad show; the postcards i got today and some stickers i made were the finishing touches and i finally got to seal the packages up.

there was a graffiti jam outside the cage on march 29th. i had a great time and am proud/ashamed to say that i was the only one who did not actually have any graffiti on his board.

it is acrylic, alkyd, enamel and collaged paper on a 4x8'wood panel. the event started at noon and went till five.

i took pictures throughout and composed something pretty simple on after effects and now know how to sequence. like it!

the music is a bic commercial from, i'm guessing, back in the day.

i have been working on, among other things, the continuing projects for altered ego. you may remember the first two assignments. it has become a test of my skill-set and patience. i am learning to love the challenge.

here is the second line test for my animation. i did an additional 30 or so drawings and it bought me about two more seconds.

i have to clean up the middle a bit, but otherwise the turn turned out okay i think.

i've been doing a lot of personal work these days, and sometimes it can get really heavy.

so.. this morning, i did a little something to get my mind off the serious stuff, (though some of you may argue that this is serious).

okey dokey- a few entries back i posted a start of a piece, just experimental and "free" in that i had no expectations or real plans for it. i have been working on it and trying to document it as best as i could for the blog. you'll have to forgive me as sometimes i get carried away and forget to document certain things. hopefully you can piece it together, i'll try my best to help along the way.

hey everybody, sorry it's been awhile. i've been busy doing little things that make up the big stuff and what with the bits all over the place, it takes up a lot of my time. i'm sure you guys know what i mean..
