• Alivenotdead & On The Lot!

  Just want to share some photos of the in-store display of a joint promotion alivenotdead did with Star Movies to promote the reality T.V show On The Lot in H.K at the Diesel store in Tsim Sha Tsui!  As part of the promotion, you can get a USB drive with videos and short films directed by some of the featured artists on alivenotdead!

  So here I am watching a tennis match with some friends on a Friday night.  Wimbolden just started and I have to say.  I LOVE TENNIS!!!!!!!   It is one of those things where everything, from the fuzz on the balls to the sweat dripping down my rainbow hairband, it excited my inner soul.  It makes me want to reach into the depths, to find the passion, to hit that ball with my racket with utmost accuracy and precision.  To me tennis is about searching for your inner demons and hitting them one by one out of the shadows and into the light.  The satisfaction of exercising those demons is the very struggle that is so true to light.  Tennis is a traditional that we must respect.  It is the gentleman's way to fight that inner fight and affirm our spirit to strive forward, to leave our mark, to reach the valleys and counquer mountains.  And with my friends, watching this tennis match, I hope that we will all ace and never double fault.  We recover from from break points.  And to pp, enjoy every moment of the rest!
  
  

  |周五晚上和朋友們看了場網球比賽，溫布爾登才剛剛開始。我愛網球!!!!!!網球的所有一切，從小球上的細密絨毛到透過我彩虹頭帶滴下的汗水，都能讓我從心底興奮起來。它讓我想了解它的深奧、觸發我的激情、用球拍最大限度最精準地擊球。對我來說，網球讓我找到內心的魔鬼並把他們一一擊出陰影、暴露在陽光下。艱難地跟魔鬼做鬥爭帶來莫大的滿足感，在陽光下是如此真實。網球是我們必須尊敬的傳統體育項目，紳士們通過它和內心做鬥爭、堅定繼續前行的信念、跨越山嶺留下我們的足印。我的朋友們，看了這場球賽，希望我們都能發球直接得分、不雙誤，在破發點裏重拾自我。pp，享受剩下的每一刻!

• The Boat, The Rain, And Light In A Rainy Day 下雨天的船、雨和快樂 | 下雨天的船、雨和快乐

  We celebrated JT and Raffi's birthday yesterday on a boat trip to Sai Kung.  Patrick, Stephen, Boon, some friends from the States, a nice group of people chillin', swimming, and enjoying the waters of Sai Kung despite the rainny weather. 
  
  The waters around Sai Kung are very beautiful.  The rain and clouds give the green coastline a misty haze that is both moody and soothing.  I barely made it out to the boat trip yesterday.  They are days when it is just difficult to get out of the house and all I can say is I am very glad I did.  
  
  After the boat trip, we decided to have an early dinner at a restaurant near the Sai Kung pier.  The row of restaurants at the Sai Kung pier is famous for H.K style seafood and it was the perfect place to show our friends from the States a little piece of local flavor. 
  
  Relaxed a bit after dinner, then the gang went out for a night of trash-talkin' and drinking.  It's funny how the 2 always go so well together.   All in all it was a wonderful day and one that almost didn't happen for me if I didn't get out of the house in the early afternoon. 
  
  It's Sunday afternoon now.  I am sitting in my apartment with the blinds closed since the weather is even more gloomy today.  I am feeling good despite the slight haze in my head.  Thank God it was only vodka last night!  I have 2 thoughts. 
  
  Sometimes a little effort and your friends can help take the gloom out of bad weather. 
  
  Mabel and the gang better be prepared for round 2 when they come back to H.K next weekend!
  
  I hope you all will enjoy this gloomy lazy Sunday as much as I will!
  

  昨天在去西貢的船上我們幫JT和Raffi慶祝生日。有Patrick、Stephen、Boon和一些美國來的朋友，我們一群人玩樂、游泳，開心地享受西貢的河水，不管下雨的壞天氣。

  西貢周圍的水非常美麗。雨和雲連在一起，給海岸線籠罩了一層綠色的輕霧，憂鬱但給人慰藉。昨天的旅程我都沒出過船艙，下雨讓人很難走出屋子，但我想說昨天過得真愉快。

  下船後，我們決定就近到西貢碼頭附近的一個餐廳提前用晚餐。西貢碼頭附近的一排餐廳以港式海鮮聞名，也是讓我們的美國朋友享受本地風味的好地方。

  晚餐後休息了一會，一群人就開始出發找地方閒聊喝酒了。很有趣，為什麼閒聊和喝酒總是形影不離。真是很棒的一天，還好我下午很早就跟大夥一塊兒出來了。

  現在已經是周日下午了，我在公寓坐著幾乎看不見，今天天氣更陰郁黑暗了。腦袋還有點暈乎，但我感覺不錯。感謝上帝昨晚隻喝了伏特加！我喝了2支。

  有時朋友能帶你離開壞天氣的陰霾。

  Mabel和朋友們下周末回香港時，要做好第二輪的準備哦！

• Back From Tokyo . . . 3rd Time's The Charm Hopefully! 從東京回來…希望事不過三！| 从东京回来…希望事不过三！

  I am writing this blog for the 3rd time because of some technical and freaky disasters. 
  
  1.  system did not accept my message due to a shortage of my Internet connection.
  
  2.  my computer crashed and I lost the entry even though I typed it on MS Word.
  
  3.  If you are reading this, I did not get stuck by an electrical current that zapped through my computer!
  
  Tokyo was very enjoyable as always.  I was there to shoot a travel program about Macao for TV Tokyo.  It was fun even though I was speaking through an interpreter most of the time.  My Japanese remains very limited! 
  
  A few interesting episodes

  After reading Ryu Murakami's "In The Miso Soup" on my way to Tokyo, I was walking around Kabuki-cho, where the book is set, that evening.  No I was not looking for the sex places Kabuki-cho is known for!  But I was trippin' out on seeing the very people and places the book was mentioning.  Also found a really good ramen place and a bohemian bar in a narrow alley filled with traditional oden and yakitori places.  I love Tokyo because there are so many nooks and crannies, so many little spots with lots of character!  You can never finish exploring Tokyo which makes it a very exciting place to be!
  
  Caught up with a couple friends in Tokyo as well!  Haven't seen either of them for a long while so it was really cool to see them! 
  
  Didn't do much other than work on this trip.  My shopping attempt netted only this cylinder thing that can be throw over 200 yards!  Probably should've done my shopping sober, but I can't resist the draft beer in Tokyo!
  
  And now the weekend to come in H.K!

  我已經是第三遍寫這篇Blog了，出現了技術問題和很多突發狀況。

  1.系統不接受我的信息因為我的網絡沒連接好。
  2.我的電腦崩了，在Word裏面編輯的文章都沒有保存下來。
  3.我不敢插電，怕電流毀了我的電腦！所以你現在能看到這篇文章。

  東京象往常一樣很有意思。我曾經為東京電視台拍攝過一個關於澳門的旅遊節目。雖然大部分時間都要通過翻譯說話，但那兒還是很有趣。我的日本話還是很有限！

   一些有趣的片段

  去東京的路上，我讀了村上龍的《In The Miso Soup》，當晚我就去了小說故事的發生地Kabuki-Cho (新宿歌舞伎町)。不，我不是為了去以色情場所著名的Kabuki-Cho！我只是想去看看小說裏提到的那些特殊的人和地方。我還在一條狹窄的滿是日式雜煮和烤肉攤的小巷裏發現了一個很棒的拉面店和波西米亞酒吧。我愛東京因為它有那麼多的個性，那麼多不同特色的小地方！東京讓你可以永遠發掘到新東西，真是讓人興奮的地方！

  在東京我還遇到了好幾個朋友！很久沒見他們了，所以非常開心！

  這次旅行除了工作沒有做其他事情。我購物的戰利品只有這個能被拋到200碼以外的圓筒！我沒有購物狂熱，但無法抗拒東京的生啤！

  周末回到香港！
