• The End Is Near . . . Wish I Was In Hawaii!!!!!!! | 拍攝即將結束…真希望我在夏威夷!!!!!!

  Sorry it has been so long since my last post.  I have been focused on finishing the T.V series.  The shoot has not always been easy, but overall it has been a great experience and I have learned much from some of the actors on set. 
  
  I am sitting in my hotel room now in the Shanghai area, which means I did not make the trip to Hawaii with the AnD boys.  Work first, but I have to give a shout to the AnD boys and the FTG boys !!!!
  
  Hope you all are having a great time and enjoying the film festival!!!!!!!  Get lots of sun, drink heavy, and come back with stories!!!!!  Wish I could be there with you guys!
  
  I really haven't been up to much outside of shooting.  I like to just focus on the shoot when I am shooting, but now that the shoot is almost over, I am feeling much more at ease. 
  
  Want to say thanks to Hsiao Hsiao and Kelly for visiting me on set over the weekend.  They brought me a really nice present, something that they made themselves and spend lots of time on.  So thank you!!!!!!  Really appreciate your gift and your support! 
  
  I am looking forward to going back to H.K and working with Patrick, Stephen, and the AnD boys.  We have lots of things we need to do to make alivenotdead better and better for artists and for users.  I have been very happy and encouraged to see so many wonderful artists join our site in the past couple months!

  我期待著回香港，跟Patrick、Stephen和AnD男孩們一起工作。為了給藝術家和用戶一個越來越好的alivenotdead，我們還有許多工作要做。過去幾個月裏，看到有這麽多優秀藝術家又陸續加入，我非常高興，也很受鼓舞!

  |   最後の投稿からずいぶん時間がたってしまってごめんなさい。テレビシリーズを仕上げるのに集中していました。撮影はいつも簡単にいかないし、でも全体としては素晴らしい経験で、多くのことを俳優たちから学びました。

  僕は今、上海エリアにあるホテルの部屋にいます、それはAnD Boysたちとハワイに行くことは出来なかったということです。まずは仕事、でもAnd BoysとFTG boysに声援を送らないといけない！

    みんな映画祭を楽しんで、素晴らしいときを過ごしてください！！！！！！たくさん太陽を浴びて、たくさん飲んで、面白い話をもって帰ってきて。僕も皆と一

  緒にそこにいられたらなと思う。

  このところ撮影以外のことはあんまりしていないです。撮影をしているときは撮影だけに焦点を置くのが好きで、今、ほとんど撮影が終わって、ほっとしています。

    Hsiao HsiaoとKelly,週末にセットを訪ねてくれてありがとう。彼らは本当に素敵な手作りの時間をかけたプレゼントを僕にくれました。本当にありがとう！！！！！君たちのプレゼントと応援を本当にありがたく思っています。

  香港に戻ってPatrick,Stephen, AnD boysと働くのを楽しみにしています。alivenotdeadをもっとよく、アーティストとユーザーのためにもっと良くするために沢山しなければいけない事があります。この数ヶ月、たくさんの素晴らしいアーティストたちが僕たちのサイトに加わってくれて、とても嬉しく、また励まされています。 

  もうすぐ香港に戻ります。待ちきれないって言わなくちゃ。

• Britney Spears: Meltdown Queen Or PR Genius? | Britney Spears：徹底崩潰的女王還是炒作天才？

  Is Britney Spears for real?  I read about her performance at the MTV Video Awards through one of the news feeds I subscribe to and then went to YouTube to watch the video.  She did do a pretty bad job it seems and does not look like she has put in enough work to make her "comeback"  a serious one. 
  
  The reason I want to blog about this is because I feel there could be a greater conspiracy here.  Question:  Would Britney have generated as much press coverage from her performance if she did a great performance instead, something that we are all accustomed to expect from her reputation as a great stage performance?  Or would we pay more attention to her by seemingly witnessing a catastrophic public meltdown? 
  
  The evidence suggests that though the news reports of her performance are wildly negative, viewership of the fledging MTV Video Awards rose 21 percent compared to last year.  The news feeds I read have been blanketed by coverage of this "debacle."   Kanye West stirred headlines by claiming the MTV has taken advantage of Britney by booking her for the performance when they knew she was not ready to perform.  All the while, her new single, "Gimmie More" is rapidly climbing the singles charts in the States and is such a "hot item" when it was released exclusively on MTV's website for download, it reportedly crashed MTV's servers as it was overwhelmed by download requests. 
  
  This event is just one of the things that often make me question the role of media and how celebrity status is created and maintained in our generation.   Could it be possible that as long as you have a powerful PR machine working for you to manipulate the media and maximize self-promotion, the work or the product that you create, the music, films, etc are secondary?
  
  I don't have the answer but if I come out with an interesting theory I will share it with everyone!

• Still Shooting ... And Enjoying My Quiet Days... | 拍攝中…享受我的寧靜生活…

  In some ways I have really enjoyed my time in Hendian so far.  I am still getting used to the work here but because I really don't have much to do here other than go to the set everyday, I am much more focused than if I was shooting in H.K.  Aside from the shoot I really don't do much except have dinner with some of the cast and crew.  That's also very cool because it gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and bond better.  It's a long shoot and we still have 2 more months to go.  Everyone is very nice and I look forward to getting to know my fellow cast members and crew better over the course of the shoot.
  
   A random shot I took sitting in my chair of the lights and all the bugs flying around it while I was waiting for the next scene a couple days ago.
