Precious [2:44 short] directed, written, and edited by Mike Mai shot in Boston Chinatown
This is my first time directing some sort of a film. It was really fun!!! I got to boss people around and took countless takes. Unfortunately, the acting is still questionable. The entire film was shot very amaturely. No tripod and not even use of a video camera. I did this in a digital picture camera. I'm an art student, therefore I have no budget. I referenced 3 films here, try to spot them.
OK, I'm starting my Junior year in college now...FINALLY! It took me two years to get here. Not that I was a slacker or anything. It's just I transfered from another college and the credits didn't transfer perfectly. But I am happy where I am at right now, in Massachusetts College of Art. It's not the best in the USA, but it is certainly reputable among art schools in the country.
The other day I read the Weekly Dig magazine and they did a back to school specials. They wrote artitles on colleges in Boston and stereotyping students from each college. Here is a picture of what a MassArt student looks like: That's pretty funny! I absolutely don't look like that but a lot of people in my school do.
And here is Weekly Dig's descrīption of a MassArt Student: While you've likely spared your parents the burden of out-of-state tuition, you still broke their hearts by going to art school. It's coool. They get to look forward to years of explaining your major (fibers?) to their friends and supporting your impoverished ass come graduation. You have to suffer for your art, so why shouldn't they?
I found that hilarious because my last girlfriend was a FIBERS major and nobody really knew that existed.
Right, that's my blog for the day. As I said, I'm in school now, so don't expect a lot of blog entries from me but I will certainly try my best to keep up. Or I could write even more blogs from now on, you never know. Expect the unexpected.
Andy Lau in concert 2007 has finally begun. What's my boy up to this time? Women, tons of women! That hottie is on her knees.
Andy can get with this many girls in one concert, he is GOD! I wonder if it will be even more edgy when he performs in HK. “小朋友,刚才你应该没有'张开眼睛‘吧?“ “Little girl, this concert is rated R, are you accompanied by someone 18 or older?"
Here's the rundown for the concert:
虽然加入了好几首新歌,但是还有一大半的歌都是上几次演唱会表演过的。无新意,唉。连“继续谈情”和“你是我的女人”,“Coffee or Tea"里面任何一首歌都无唱,真令我失望。希望香港个唱他会唱翻他上几只碟的歌啦。 Even though he performed a lot of new songs, but most of the other songs he has already done in the past few concerts. Come on, Andy, sing something different! The most dissapointing is that he only performed one song from his last 3 cantonese albums. I hope in the HK concert he will be singing more songs from those albums.
Yup, that's right. My website has been reborn. It has gone through make-over just last night. I don't know what came over me, I just wanted to do over. Now, you can visit my dope-ass new look website at www.mikemai.net or taimaishuzzzz.home.comcast.net. I can guarantee you that it's sure fire.
Today, I listened to Noriko Sakai's new single CD. Her voice is still sweet and beautiful, I'm so in love with her, aaawwwww. In this new CD, Noriko Sakai rendered two old songs, one from another artist, one from herself. Both are excellent songs, classics. After listening to the tunes, I dug up her MV's. She looks more mature and even more beautiful in the MV's. It's been a while since I heard anything new from her, I miss her. Haha. Let's enjoy this music video from Noriko Sakai.
