  Well, I'm back in the world after a quite serious operation - I've put a blog up to explain my absence on AnotD for the past few months.
  
  It would be great to perform in Texas, although I guess it's unlikely in the near future - well, unless there's a fairy godmother out there somewhere!
  
  But you never know what will happen, so maybe I should be more positive and say that, yes, we'll definitely have a little drink together in 2010 - in Austin, of course!

  We were raised on dandelion.  In the spring when the dandelions were young and fresh dad and I would go out dndelion `hunting.`  It was an Italian thing - served with olive oil and vinegar and topped with pasta fagioli (that`s what they called it anyway but I really don`t remember pasta being in it -- more like Italian refried beans).  Again -- vegetarian.  Same thing when we made polenta and covered it with wild mushrooms which were `hunted` in the woods.  My dad knew the difference between the edible and poisonous mushrooms but me?  If it is wrapped in cellophane in the produce section I am ok.  Did you ever notice in every apocalyptic movie they always show a looted grocery store?  I always think...yeah that stockpile would last a couple of weeks!  We are so screwed.

  All 3 actors (Donovan, Anwar and Campbell) compliment each other quite nicely in Burn Notice.  Love the stories and the maturity of the subject matter without being all "CSI."  And Sharon Gless...think she'll get lung cancer soon?  I can't believe they let her puff her cigs on this show...in this day and age of anti-smoking!  I'm glad I don't have to work with her!
  
  Anyway....Donovan is a martial artist and does most of his own stunts.  Respect!  =)
