Trained as a lawyer, Sue found her calling in areas beyond those of a legal eagle. Upon graduation, she joined a celebrity management company where she spent time managing and organising local screen and stage celebrities’ schedules and contract negotiations, before being “spotted” and cast in the pilot of a local sitcom. Since then, she has gone on to act in several local TV dramas, serials, plays and movies, both in Malaysia and Singapore; hosted a Malaysian docu-drama and scripted Kopitiam-sitcom (Msia), All Mixed Up-sitcom (Msia), Yang Sisters2-sitcom (Singapore).

Sue was also an announcer with LightFM station which is part of ASTRO, Malaysia's leading cross-media operator specialising in the creation, aggregation and distribution of content across multiple platforms. At Light& Easy, she also wrote promo segments for the programme, as well interviewed local and international celebrities on air. Sue is also often in demand as an Emcee on the local events circuit, and her client list includes Ford Malaysia, SK-II and Starbucks.
In 2003, Sue was nominated for Best Actress for the movie Lang Buana at the Malaysian Film Festival.
