    Hey there! Are there any other BTVS (geek-speak for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") fans out there?!?

    Buffy-creator Joss Whedon (Firefly) just produced a new three-act musical, superhero movie starring Neil Patrick-Harris and Nathan Fillion (also from Firefly) and is releasing it for free online UNTIL July 20 when it's taken offline (well, at least from legal online venues) and will be released as a DVD. Interesting new way to promote their work, but probably will only work on something so geeky and viral.

    In any case, be sure to check it out... Act 3 gets released on the 19th.

    Incidentally, it's really coincidental: Just last night Rottendoubt and I were talking about the idea of a superhero movie seen through the eyes of the villain instead of the hero... and the very next day, here's a movie that is exactly that PLUS it has singing...

    BTVS, Angel, Firefly & Serenity - sparkly fandom days! At the con, they announced  Act IV for Dr. Horrible! Yay!

    yah, i heard about this just yesterday.  love joss whedon's work.  he's got an extremely unique vision for stories that few are able to put into production

    Oh I like that, Act  was pretty funny, I so agree with him on the laugh :D

    I used to love BTVS, I'll never forget the musical episode.

    Hphan recommended it and I just watched Act 1.  Well, yes a villain, but not a really bad nasty villain, at least so far.  But if he loses the girl, he might go nuclear.  Glad to see musicals are becoming not so weird to people.  By the way I never even saw one episode of BTVS.
