Let the battle begin. After seeing Etchy's self-congratulatory post regarding shooting to the top of the Members Chart with his search-engine baiting Edison posts, I've decided to rally all of my search engine optimization knowledge (Chinese New Year 2008 is the Year of the Rat - The horoscope) and knock him off of his pedestal. I might not have the power of naked Hong Kong celebrities on my side (John Mcwethy, John Mcquethy: ABC Local 4 Sydney weatherman), but I do have some knowledge and experience that helped Rotten Tomatoes jump from 2.7 million monthly unique visitors to 6.2 million monthly uniques in the last year and a half I spent at RT. (Ann Arbor, Michigan public school closings) That, and the OTHER thing that attracts gobs attention online -- TIME TO UNLEASH THE

Finally, building the traffic is ALL ABOUT doing something viral -- and what's more viral than

Also for good measure, I'm taking the three top searched keywords from Google for today (Chinese New Year 2008, John Mcwethy, Ann Arbor school closings) and sprinkling them and associated keywords liberally throughout this blog entry for better keyword density. Guys are so funny. So competitive. Exactly how many hits did Etchy's smarmy self-serving blogs get off this? 32,879 at this point. And he's at 105,522, so w/o the Eddy blogs he'd be at 76,643. That's still pretty amazing. He sure did pull ahead on that last "leg." And other body parts. But I don't wanna see you guys squabble so Jaine sent me here. I'm like, who cares about Ann Arbor schools...looks like spam. It looks like the big crush for the EDISON SEX SCANDAL is over though so he should'nt really be getting more hits on his EDISON SEX SCANDAL blogs (...shouldn't I have mentioned that here? is this a good vs evil blog...guess I better get back over to Etchy then!).
