Need beauty advice :-)

I normaly do not care for beauty. But I have a problem. I took photos of my self last night before I went to sleep. I started to notice that my hair, as dark as night, looked like a frickin helmet or hat!!! .. I did notice it when I did the unrehursed alivenotdead Birthday Wish.. as see here..

By the way.. my shirt is not that low.. but in this video it looked lowcut..

Now, my question is.. how to get the hair toned down???

To the color of..lets say a brown..?

I think it's perfect but if you want to soften it, put some soft highlight/lowlight to give it some texture...

maybe you can try put on some hair wax and sweep your fringe to the side (don't let it fall down on the forehead like now) and at the side, tug the hair behind the ears. And as for color, I think hazelnut brown would be nice =)

I think your hair looks nice, but I understand how you feel. I'm not sure about a home remedy, but I know for a fact (my own hair experience) that a salon can tone down the color. Sorry not much help

I write poetry, musical lyrics, and sometimes I write short stories. My very first book "Love Poems" can be found on Amazon.com and Estore.com. I hope to publish more books in the future.

I grew up in Texas, in the USA. I am the youngest out of four children. I grew up fighting off Dyslexia. My case of Dyslexia was taking simple directions in words and making them harder to follow then they seemed. I also have a tendencey to miss-spell or confuse the order of numbers and letters in words. When I was 7 years old, I had a school teacher, she asked us to look at this picture of a family sitting down to dinner. After looking it over, we were then asked to write a small page of what we thought their thoughts were as they sat to eat supper. I was the only child to write up to 5 pages. When my teacher read this out loud, is when I knew the one she was proud of was me, but she ended the story in tears. Every day after that she made me write a story each day. When I was moving on to next level in school, I thought my torture had ended, torture because each time I wrote a story, I had huge head aches. But she told my next teacher to make me write for her and that one passed it to the next...

Now, I have won several small poetry awards. And I am proud to say I have also just published my first book.

Funny how dreams start from the smallest of seeds.

Life is short.. find a way to live it happily.
