We not only have middle eastern restaurants, my sons and their wives all love that kind of food... Arabic, Indian, Greek, whatever.  Not me.

My friend and I went into a cute little restaurant called The Grape Leaf a few years ago and ordered our Cokes before looking at the menus.  When we saw words like hummus, and farfalle, we knew we were in the wrong place, so she rushed out, and I told our waitress that my friend was feeling ill, so I just paid for our drinks and left.  The words "Grape Leaf" on the restaurant sign went right over our heads.  Duh!

I like plain old bland American food.  lol  And I love any kind of coconut.

There's a lot on that list I'll bet you'd love if you'd try them. I definitely am not a fussy eater. Or drinker. The only thing I really can say I hate and spit out is shredded coconut. But fresh coconut is delicious. Do you guys have any middle eastern restaurants in your town? Toledo has a big Arabic community, don't they (I'm thinking Danny Thomas and Jamie Farr...?). That's a real fresh cuisine, and the meats are prepared with nice spices. And the salads and dips are so fresh and healthy. Babaganoush is a dip made of charcoal broiled eggplant pureed with a sesame paste served with fresh pita. That's probably my favorite cuisine on that list.

The picture you liked is so cool, isn't it? The colors he painted the desert are soooo peaceful & soothing.

Yes Seeker, I did make a new blog with new pics of the grandkids, but when I posted it, none of the pics showed, so I deleted it.  I'll get back to it eventually.  I do it so rarely, I evidently forget how. lol

Speaking of scabs, I have gobs of teeny tiny ones from Mannie's claws and teeth.  I guess it's how he shows me how much he loves me.  ^-^

Hey, my scabs are falling off! First time I've had truly splendid scabs since I was a kid. I forgot how itchy they are & how one piece is ready to come off but the other isn't. Ouch! haha I know TMI. I'll be going now...

Thanks, glad you liked it! Well it's no big deal really, because the karaoke places we went to had private rooms for groups of people, so you're just singing in front of your pals. Otherwise, there would be no way I'd get up in front of strangers and sing... are you kidding? hehehe... But sorry we didn't video tape ourselves back in those days... it was like 10 years ago... Back then I think you had to have a film crew or something since DV cameras weren't around yet... :P Plus we weren't so vane like people these days. hehehe... Hey I hated doing book reports too! And imagine later on I had to do presentations in college... it was like torture... ack!
