Bonham rocks high velocity drum king pin, powerhouse chops and plenty of them. Considered as one of musics premier elite standard setup big backbeat. Groomed out of the 6Os movement he could shure play, well dicaplined in every rocking way. Styled as a hard hitter but could blues out the soul, sizzling grooves quick crash cymbols. Unlimited heights his reputation has soared true improviser creating zones unexplored. 26 inch kick drum prefered is what he chose, fast as lightning and pounding force. Well executed speed with majestic roles specialized perfection in driven triples. Thanks to Carmine Appice, Ludwig was the brand the most, customized for the accentric English bloke. Bonzo as he was called, was the nickname of choice, started out young in his early musical growth. Hooked up with singer Robert Plant, from The Band Of Joy, always wanted to drum since he was a boy. Behind the New Yardbirds Group they were the plan, handpicked for one of rocks greatest bands, John was the backbone, Robert front end. Kieth Moon drummer for The Who gave them the name Led Zepplin. Never missed a beat, playing with bare hands, Moby Dick was his solo, Zepplin gold as it stands. Thrill seeking fancies, fast paced craze choppers, and dragsters, hot rod taste. Traveled on tour with their own jet plane, nothing but the best of rock and roll fame. Drummed on many a world stage during his reign, flashy showman and fatherly traits. Had a son he drummed too, not like his dad but Jason was smooth. Carrying on the traditional Bonham cool, one of the best drum to rock contributes. Johns past affiliations extended from Terry Reid, Joe Cocker,Lord Sutch, to Paul Macartney. His lifestyle came with a steep cost and so deep, one too many good times got the best of him in sleep. His final hour he stayed with bandmate Jimmy Page, never to awake, or play drums again. Led Zepplin folded, split up in regret could'nt go on without him out of musical respect. His band put down his drumset cymbol on top of his grave, in loving memory for every thing John Henry gave!
